   A complete disappointment. I would not recommend that anyone stays here. This is a list of what I found with apartment 4. Not in any order. Very poor WiFi that most of the time did not connect. Very poor internet in the area makes it more important to have a good WiFi. No tablet or chairs to eat No cooking utensils Hood light doesn’t work No soap dish in shower Hot plate worked but how about an induction plate? Tiles in toilet shower need repair and was trip hazard Front Door not secure CNo hopping Board No Drying cloth No bath mat The shower leaks and is broken The bathroom sink does not drain. Needs cleaning. No towel rail or hooks Towels were old and thread bare Mattress old and soft Freeze needs deicing No reply to email No photos of room Expensive for what you get Not recommended There were a couple of pluses. Good plenty of coffee and milk Good location

   I’ve never ran faster away from an accommodation in my life. It’s a sketchy house with rented rooms, pay a bit more and get wayyy better elsewhere.

   About the only thing going for this place is the price. Disgustingly dirty, cramped and broken furniture. No towels when we arrived the photos are fake or at least no longer relevant. Easy to walk to from station. We merely slept there if you want a ola e to have space to rest this is not it.

1. Search Forward Limited ★☆☆☆☆

   Scary experience and if you want a safe night of sleeping please do avoid this place. This building is not a hotel or just for hotel guests - there are permanent residents that live there, some of which are on the dangerous side. We came back in the evening, and some of the residents were having a very loud, aggressive argument and throwing things around in their room adjacent to ours. Our room was just a yale lock which could have been easily broken in to - they sounded like they had been drinking or taking drugs and were the types of people that do random things as a result. We left shortly after and decided to stay with friends. Very unpleasant experience.

   Owner not helpful, room not as described. We have been given a room that is not any of the ones in picture, barely any space to walk, ZERO storage so the luggages had to be by the bed making it very difficult to move around in the room, blinds described as "blackout" are damaged and poorly installed with a massive gap making it the opposite of black out. No central heating, just a portable electric heater, because of that the room was really cold coming back to it after a day out.

   Kew Rooms is located in a very strategic location. It's very close to Kew Garden station, restaurants, Starbuck, mini market, cafes and bar. You can walk to Sainsbury supermarket to buy foods and beverages. The room is very compact.

   Rooms very dirty. Had not been cleaned at all. Dirty bedding, towels and left over food from previous guest still in room. Unhygienic- pet allowed to free roam in food preparation areas jumping up on counter ect., Rubbish all over floor outside and much more. Furthermore, unsafe electrical someone was electrocuted. Do not recommend!!

   Awful stay. We were supposed to check in at 2pm but the cleaner was running late. We hung about trying to pass time and at 4pm the male owner offered to clean the room. He did a shoddy job, no longer than 20 minutes to clean the entire room/kitchenette and bathroom and when he was done the room looked and felt filthy. Awful lighting, claustrophobic bathroom and dirty cutlery. We were planning on booking another night but it was so bad that we ended up going to the premiere inn down the road. When I left, I asked if they were planning on refunding a % of the payment to apologize and the owner said no. Smelled awful and it felt like sleeping in filth - nothing like the pictures at all. When we were waiting for the room to be ready we put our wine in the fridge and later the owner said 'There's some wine in the fridge' as if he was the one to put it there for us but it was ours anyway! I didn't even use the shower because it was so bad, I waited till we got to the premiere inn. Someone has dropped a greasy tomatoe pizza on the sofa and when I pointed it out, he covered it with a pillow case. No towels either.

   I had a very comfortable and most pleasant stay at Kew Rooms for 4 night in May 2018. My room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Sheets and towels were very clean. The host Geoff and his wife were very helpful and made me very welcomed. Breakfast was simple but very adequate. Chance to meet people from other countries who were staying there. Location is fantastic - 7 minute walk to Kew Gardens tube and 10 minutes to Kew Gardens Park. Fully recommend Kew Rooms if you happen to be in that part of London. My rating: 4.5*/5* or 9/10
