Great location for thorpe park and that's about it for the positives. Room we booked was not the room we had. Asked to be moved and told they'd over booked so could have a 50% discount paid out instead. I agreed. The discount turned out to be an e voucher to use at travel lodge within next 6 months which i was not told. Reception and customer services were no help after that when trying to change it to cash refund. Poor experience.

We probably got the best view, we stayed in room 218 which is on the highest floor and positioned at a vantage angle, to see both the building gaps on the further most right, yet to see around the hotel elevated edge wall, (described as a big white metal thing at the end and blocking the view a bit). As seen on my photo, there are floors 2, 1, 0, -1. The Travelodge main entrance and drinks machine are on 0. The Travelodge underground car entrance is on -1, the ramp down to the underground parking lot is sided with red bricks and can been seen on a photo. The reception and some guest rooms are on 1. Most guest rooms are on 2 and there's also an upper courtyard with some guest rooms around it, the courtyard is thin and long so those guest rooms shall have a very small view. See my photo of floor 2 map, of which I got from my guest room door. Please note that the 'choose your room' option is available at Β£3.50, to ensure a better room view in advance, which is offered immediately after guest room purchase.

Me and my partner stayed in Travelodge Egham for 7 nights while waiting for our move-in date to our new apartment. We were carrying a lot of our stuff including few boxes that contains kitchen items. Since our room is quite full already we asked the manager if it's possible to keep some of our boxes in their storage. They were so helpfull by storing our things for few days safely. Everyone was super friendly, Mary, Kiki, Margie, and Maria. Eventhough we didn't ask for a top up whenever one of the staff see us they always very kindly ask if we want our room serviced. Even the reception team was very helpful when we requested for a quiet room. I want to say a special thank you to Rani for making our stay super comfortable and having such a friendly and helpful team. I highly recommend this place!

The room didnβt look much like the photos (except the chair), the shower was very low pressure and it had a very strange layout. There were odd stains on the carpets too. The staff were friendly though and very helpful.

We went during the heatwave, the hallway where the lifts are were by a large glass panel which retained the heat and by the afternoon, it was an oven. The rooms had a fan but it didn't cool the room, asked reception for an additional fan but they didn't accommodate. Located close to Windsor and Thorpe Park, which was handy. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Had a great sleep and was welcomed into the hotel by a very polite and caring receptionist Minu. Downside is the parking - it costs a minimum of Β£15 for up to 7 or 8 hours which is totally a rip off and put a damper on my stay.

I only stayed for a night during a business trip and I was pleasantly surprised. The accommodation was very affordable and only a minute walk from local shops, restaurants and the train station. The room was simple, but quiet and remarkably clean. The bed was very comfortable and the staff at the reception was incredibly nice. The βbreakfast on the goβ package was sweet, though I would have preferred a less wasteful packaging. Iβd come here again!

Great staff at work. Nice rooms. Very commutable as the train station is within walking distance & the bus station is just at the exit door. Parking available. Restaurants and coffee shops are nearby. Tesco & Waitrose are just in the neighborhood.

Very Disappointing Stay Stayed at Travelodge Egham for 8 nights in the beginning of October. Room was ok at first but the service was very poor. During our stay, almost every night when we returned to our room the room key didnβt work and needed a reset. In addition, they didnβt change our towels 3 or 4 times even though we clearly put the sign on the door plus the rubbish bins were not cleared. The room was never cleaned (or at least hoovered) the entire stay and the bed linens were changed only once! So basically we had to live in a filthy environment most the time. Honestly, it felt like there is no house keeping service at all, and even though we told the reception about the issues, they were not addressed. If you stay 1-2 nights it could be fine, but staying longer you will certainly wonβt feel comfortable. Under-performed, will not return.

Stayed here for 2 nights 2nd night parked in the car park and the main doors to hotel were wedged open? Our card had to be reactivated as we couldnβt get in from reception. At 3am we were woke to 3 people outside our rooms looked like they were moving in, opening large cardboard boxes outside our room and being noisy this went on for a few hours. Asked them to be quiet but just looked at me smiling with the male receptionist stood there! Looked like he was moving his family in!! Never again would I stay at this hotel, no sleep with a 5 hour drive home!
