   The hotel is self is very clean sheets towels to a good standard, The only problem is is the car park the one closest to the hotel was closed on the Sunday evening at 8 o’clock We had to use the car park the furthest one away which is difficult when it is dark you have cases and children, The one there is the hotel should be kept open to accommodate the hotel

   I've stayed in hotels all over the world, and this has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I'm from the US and I have a reason for being in this area every few months. Previously, I've stayed at Boleyn Hotel (which I would still completely recommend), but decided to "save a few dollars" because I had heard good things about this brand in the UK. Here are reasons NOT to stay here: 1. Laughably, even though it's a "hotel", it's not even staffed before check-in, so literally no one is there in the morning, other than a sign saying "we'll be back at noon". I personally worked in the hospitality industry in college and again, have stayed in so many hotels, and I've never seen this outside of an AirBNB/VRBO. Hello, there's actually a reason why I would select a hotel instead, one of them being safety?!!!! 2. There is "no frills" and there is ridiculous. I expect to have a door that locks fully, a shower the drains and to be ABLE TO CONTROL MY OWN THERMOSTAT!!! Because I'm sorry, even £64 a night is still £64 a night!! 3. Great location, if you're driving. Otherwise, on paper it looks great, but in reality, you're crossing lanes of busy traffic, more than once, to get to the other side. 4. And here's my biggest reason. I spent 10 hours flying to the UK, then hung out with my son for a few hours before deciding it was time for bed. When I woke up, I was hungry and realized there would be next to nothing available at this hour so I went down to the lobby, where I had noticed a vending machine when I checked in next to the front desk. I'm down there, fully dressed, acting like a reasonable adult, buying a snack and I'm getting the third degree from whoever was behind the front desk. I'm sorry, what about me or anything I was doing, made me look like I was doing something nefarious? When I was able to answer him like a reasonable person about my room #, etc, he apologized profusely. Which tells me that he routinely treats people like that which is the first problem. Second problem is why? Anyway, it's now 12:45 AM, I'm freezing, listening to people outside the hotel making a bunch of noise, praying that no one is able to get into the room tonight with the busted door lock. And yes, ABSOLUTELY if I wasn't checking out tomorrow morning, I would be changing hotels. Spend a few extra £'s and stay somewhere clean, safe and warm.

   I stayed at this hotel last month, I was served by Naseem who was there for the night shift as I checked in quite late. He was a gentleman and served us with a smile and was very welcoming. The rooms were good enough and were very clean. the location is right in the centre of Staines town with access to nearby shopping centre with a big car park which is always handy. A very pleasant stay, would come back soon.

   Not a good hotel would not reccomed staff not helpfull first visit my gf left her stuff in the bathrooms we asked reception they said cleaners did not bring it down they did not even bother to check the room or let us go in to grab the stuff also beds are not that comfortable second time my tackies go missing I knew exactly where I left them check whole entire hotel and not there it was there went out to get food come back and then all sudden not there do not reccomend this place to stay premire inn way better only good thing I have to say is room was decent clean and tidy and nice view

   I've stayed in many hotels and this is the worst Travelodge I've stayed in. Been here twice. Not again Noisy due to the road, ventilation, plumbing. Drafty time that get cold at night Worn out decor. Flimsy bedding. No sockets near the bed It was generally clean. Though the bath was left full of clean water Slow service at reception All summed up as old and tired

   Make sure to wipe your feet on your way out. The only true benefit of this place is that it's close to Heathrow. As there appears to be a huge amount of temporary accommodation stay at this hotel it doesn't appear to be that clean.

   Reading some of the reviews, I was quite concerned about the noise, especially the drag racing, but I didn't see or hear any drag racing during the week that I was here--but it was November so all that activity was probably more of a warm weather thing. Also, I requested and got a room on the side facing the river. My room looks out toward a strip of forest and then the water. Even if there had been drag racing, I doubt I would have heard it. There is some noise from the planes at Heathrow but it wasn't frequent or loud enough to be a problem for me. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. It wasn't a fancy hotel but really good value for the price.

   I stayed at the Travelodge in Staines to avoid potential train strikes. The room that I had was nice and spacious. What I really loved about the Hotel is that you can open the window at night. Unlike other cheap Hotel brands I can think of. The bed was SOO COMFY. . I didn't use the breakfast box option as there are plenty of shops and restaurants opposite the Hotel. The Hotel was so quiet both inside and outside. I will definitely be staying there again if needed.

   Travel Lodge Stains is a very clean and nice hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Namira is very professional, friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend Travel Lodge if you are coming to Stains. Thank you for making my stay a very comfortable one.
