“Our standard dachshund, Sniper, recently stayed with Sam and her daughter, Daisy, for five nights whilst we were away. He received excellent care and did not appear to miss us. Sam sent us regular messages and photo/ video updates about Sniper, who was very happy - slept well, ate well and thoroughly enjoyed the company of the other dachshunds and of Sam and Daisy. I particularly liked the fact that the dogs were walked in the fields each day, also the play activities and stimulation which Sam incorporated into their days. We collected a very contented dachshund.”

She takes brilliant care of them, making sure she understands their (sometimes very picky) preferences and giving them space to run around every day. She’s a real bunny expert and has always offered tips, advice and reassurance if we’ve ever had any questions and if she’s ever had a concern she’s been in touch before getting them to the vet. If you have rabbits, or other small pets, I’d highly recommend Karen to take care of them whenever you’re away.”

Paul was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about rabbit care, and they went out of their way to ensure that my rabbits felt safe and comfortable during their stay. The accommodation was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of room for my rabbits to hop around and play. One thing that really stood out to me was the personalized attention that my rabbits received. he even provided fresh vegetables to ensure that my rabbit's diet was healthy and balanced. “I have two cats, 9 and 7yrs, who had only ever known our home. I was incredibly stressed and nervous looking for somewhere for them to live for a week whilst we were between houses. Emma at Longcroft did a great job talking at length through how they looked after their guests, reassuring me my babies would be absolutely fine. And they were! The set up is fab, the pamper options are so cute(!), and they settled in pretty quickly, especially our most anxious baby. Emma sent photo updates to reassure us and after a couple of days I stopped stressing, which was down to Emma, her team, and the fab little luxury hotel she runs. I would definitely recommend!”

“I cannot rate Longcroft high enough! Daisy is an absolute dream person to leave your furry friends with while you are away. She is so nice and easy to deal with and the service she provides is fantastic. We had regular pictures and updates on how our two were doing while we were away, which is so reassuring. We have two young, indoor cats who had never been away from home before. So were a bit worried about how they would adapt but we need not have worried! Daisy won them over in no time and they had a lovely holiday, while we had peace of mind to enjoy ours.”

“My 3 year old beagle has spent many a happy day with Sharon, and was always delighted to see her when she arrived to collect him, which is the best sign I can think of that he enjoyed his time with her. Sharon's garden is superb for dogs and very secure, which was a key thing for me. Hoffman also had several overnight stays with Sharon and always came home happy. Sharon was always very professional and she charges reasonable and fair rates for the services provided. I would not hesitate to recommend Sharon for dog care and will happily use Sharon's services again in the future when required.”

“It's very easy to tell that Sarah is a 'cat person'. The setup is lovely and I was amazed as how easily my two cats settled in to the room for the 6 days they were to spend here. On return home they were so chilled out and it felt to us a good indication of the care they'd been given during their stay. Everything felt like the cats are the priority over all else, with an appreciation that it can be stressful leaving your animals with someone else when you go away. The large garden and hot tub were definite highlights – the hot tub was especially amazing and perfect for relaxing. The kitchen facilities were top-notch, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals together. The hosts were incredibly helpful when we encountered a small issue with the gate and quickly resolved it, ensuring our stay was seamless.
