βWhat an amazing hotel with super welcoming staff , Maria and Sam , the rooms are sumptuous and large with a lot of thought going into every little detail . The staff are so helpful and very informative and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely stay again on our next visit to the area .β
βExcellent hotel, very friendly staff. However the breakfast service was slow and we only just had time to eat our breakfast as we had to catch a train. The staff were apologetic but we had to rush our food and this meant we didn't enjoy the experience. Next time we will have cereal.β
βOur two dogs, Roo (beagle) and Ernie (Jack Russell) liked Rachel straight away and they had a good cuddle on the first house visit. Felt really confident that they would be looked after when we were out for the day. Got updates and photos during the day which was lovely. Wouldnβt hesitate to recommend and will definitely be using again.β
βWhat a fabulous hotel. We were down for a funeral last weekend and decided to stay two nights as we had a considerable travel time. The staff at reception (Abbey I think?) and another girl were incredibly helpful and even insisted on taking our case up to our room - in fact all of the staff went out of their way - literally- they didn't just tell you ,they stopped what they were doing and showed you in person - amazing! The room was delightful and incredibly warm and cosy - the leisure centre was excellent and the food at breakfast and the second evening when we dined in was excellent on every occasion. Really cheered us up for what was a a sad occasion otherwise. Thank you again - will definitely stay there again when in the area.β
βFirst time at an easy hotel and it was lovely. I wasnβt sure what to expect for such a cheap stay, but the rooms are nice, light and welcoming, the staff are wonderful and so helpful. I spoke to 3 ladies whilst I was there who all assisted me with different things with big smiles and a welcoming nature! The lady I spoke with this morning is called Rachel and she was delightful. Two other ladies assisted me last night with a key card problem and an extra heater, really fantastic staff who think on their feet and go above and beyond to make your stay welcoming. I WILL BE BACK!xβ
βAmazing experience at The Grand. The Cabaret and Cabernet evening was fabulous, fantastic singers, musicians and dancers. The meal was delicious too. Our room was lovely, breakfast very good, especially the salmon and eggs with hollandaise sauce. All the staff were professional, friendly and polite. Overall a wonderful stay in an absolutely beautiful hotel.β
βLovely meal in a small village pub. Impressed by the standard. Professional staff, really tasty foodβ
βBeautiful Hotel. No staff on site but service only a phone call away. We had a small problem with our room and this was quickly resolved without fuss. Great location and very clean.β
βThe service hotel is in an excellent location within the City of Birmingham, England. All the shops, restaurants, attractions are within easy walking distance. It is also easily accessible by road, train and coach from across the country. The rooms are clean, air conditioned and have all essential facilities included. The beds are comfortable with bedding and pillows to ensure a great sleep, which is also helped by the βblack outβ curtains. Water temperature and pressure is fully adjustable allowing for a perfect shower at any time.β
βA great hotel, supplemented by it's incredible staff, all of whom were so friendly, welcoming helpful, chatty and very competent. The studio room I stayed in was fantastic, incredibly clean, comfortable with every amenity required. A special mention of a the chap that helped with check in on Sunday 16th Nov around 8/9pm. He is a credit to your hotel, a great guy. Thankyouβ
βSuch an incredible place, we arrived just as they were decorating for Christmas and it was beautiful! The setting is stunning, the rooms are lovely, the food was absolutely incredible and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. We also visited the spa and had a treatment which was fantastic. It's expensive but worth it.β
βHeld a corporate away day here and the team could not have been more supportive during the set up phase, very detailed and when I arrived all my requests had been executed as I wished. The overall stay, including the conference room, the bedrooms, all the refreshments and the evenings dinner were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and the team loved the venue. Definitely would book again for such an event, and equally, happy to recommend to those staying for leisure too.β
βHad a 2 day break here, staff are lovely and the food was some of the best I've tasted. Breakfast was as tasty and portions good. Could not of asked for a nicer 2 days away, with all attractions a short walk away.β
βWe booked Sunday afternoon tea at The Old Farm Hotel to celebrate my parent's Diamond Wedding Anniversary. There were around 30 guests and everyone was looked after extremely well by very attentive staff. The homemade cakes and scones were delicious! The venue was perfect for a gathering of this size and offered excellent value for money. A special mention to Sharon and the team who ensured everything ran smoothly on the day. Excellent customer service, we would highly recommend!β
βThis is the first time weβve been for Christmas dinner at the old Rose and Crown. The location is lovely. There were 15 in our party. The table was beautifully decorated as were all the other dining tables etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was piping hot, delicious and you werenβt rushed between courses. We would definitely book again. It was a lovely treat.β
βAlways reliable and trustworthy, my dogs really enjoyed their morning walks. Would definitely recommend and will use again while we are away. Thank youβ
βMy husband and I spent one night at the hotel and had a wonderful experience! The room was clean and comfortable, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The dishes from the kitchen were absolutely delicious β every meal was perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Compliments to the chefs for such high-quality cuisine! I would especially like to thank Anshika, our waitress, for her exceptional service β always smiling, professional, and very attentive to every detail. She truly made our dining experience special. The reception staff were also very helpful and welcoming, making the check-in and check-out process smooth and pleasant. A big thank you as well to Valentina, the bartender, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and made amazing drinks every evening. Her Espresso Martini was absolutely delicious β the best weβve ever had! Overall, a fantastic experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!β
βTravelled here for a conference and it is a fantastic site and venue. The rooms are spacious, clean and have great facilities. There was an issue with the booking, not the hotel's fault, but Adriana Travnic on tbe front desk was nothing less than exceptional when helping me rectify the situation, would definitely stay againβ
βA wonderful experience staying here over the weekend, amazing and attentive staff, always had a smile on their faces from greeting to us leaving. Breakfast was amazing and very well cooked. Rooms clean and tidy with plenty of pillows, towels and tea/coffee. Great location and parking onsite.β

βSo this is not a fancy hotel but it has a charm. If youβre looking for something a bot adventurous, go for it. We enjoyed staying here.β
βWe attended a large function at the venue last night and would like to put on record our appreciation of the excellent staff. Classic high end service where they spotted any concerns and resolved them without being intrusive. Thanks especially to the Manageress who I assume does the training.β
βVery impressed with this hotel. Easy to find and great location for our trip. Car park free although a little tight for space initially as it is shared with other businesses including a McDonald's. Room was clean, tidy and adequate. The stand out element for our trip were the staff. We sometimes encounter problems with hotels because my wife is coeliac and eating can be a major issue so a special mention to Amy who checked us in. She was knowledgeable of our circumstances and empathetic of our needs. She ensured our breakfast the following day went without incident and that the team on duty were aware of our requirements. It was very reassuring as an error can have a significant impact on my wife. It really makes a massive difference to any stay we have anywhere to be understood in this way and our overnight hotel stays would be much less stressful if there were more Amy's ! Thank youβ
βWent for lunch on Sunday 21st Dec, we went as a walk-in, after a morning of Xmas shopping. The staff were really friendly and welcoming; and even more welcome was the superb roast beef dinner; my wife had Cod-that was equally delicious. My lunch was washed down with a cracking Bordeaux Premiere. The Hotel du Vin is a really great building (former red brick Victorian Eye hospital) so is really characterful; and located in the Colmore Business district of the city centre; so architecturally and aesthetically, one of nicer parts of βtownβ. The bistro is beautifully decorated without being overly grand and pretentious, so a really nice relaxed atmosphere. Thank you to the waitress who allowed us to take extra Xmas crackers for our kids! Merry Xmas!β
βI recently spent my time here for the Xmas holidays and had a great experience. The location is bang in the centre of town and Nemo and the team were great with making us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for options in the area.β
βStayed here recently. This Premier Inn is located only about 8 minutes walk away from the Birmingham New Street train station. The hotel building is fairly new. Less than 10 years old based on my estimation. The room is of good size. Comfy and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Premier Plus rooms are on the upper floors. I can see many business travellers staying here. Overall, I did enjoy my stay here. Definitely recommended.β
βSo Iβd like to thank you for your amazing customer service, your staff and wonderful food. Not to forgot we were able to pray after breaking our Ramadan Fast. The Iftaar/Fast breaking food then the mixed grill starters were tops. Lovely curries and those Afghan Nans are the best. Nice desserts and teas too. Definitely will be returning. And itβs great youβve a hotel upstairs too. Thank youβ
βWe stayed at this hotel during December and the staff especially Lisa who made efforts to make the christmas seasin enjoyable for us and the kids , like giving them sweety bags and having a christmas tree inside our hotel room !β
βMy wife and I stayed for a week over Christmas and were delighted with the welcome from Steve and the rest of the team. Every part of the stay was excellent especially the friendliness, advice and support from staff.β
βBusiness event, excellent customer service experienced as I checked in at 3am and given a complimentary extension to rest. Great ambience and superb location which was a quick walk into the city centre. Large deep pool- (sorry no pics as it was in use by others), nice sauna and jacuzzi .β
