The room was clean and in excellent condition. We valeted and were a bit slow getting out and were met by Amber - who was so helpful and kind as she discerned our needs. She shared some helpful insight and got things off to a great start for our stay!

Business event, excellent customer service experienced as I checked in at 3am and given a complimentary extension to rest. Great ambience and superb location which was a quick walk into the city centre. Large deep pool- (sorry no pics as it was in use by others), nice sauna and jacuzzi .

We had booked an afternoon tea on Monday which was an absolute disaster and not worth the price at all! Service poor, quality expected from a 5 star hotel was abysmal along with the quality of food. Waiting staff were dismissive and rude especially the waiter. I asked for and a cappacino was told there isn’t any and given a pot of tea, which I may add I did not ask for! The afternoon tea options advertised were misleading and we were not served the cakes instead it was a case of whatever the chef decided they would serve us. When we queried the lack of cake options we were told there isn’t any!!!! Not what you expect from a 5 star brand. I addressed a complaint on the day which took Aleeza 48 hours to acknowledge and again dismissed telling me the coffee machine was broken???? So there is only 1 coffee machine i take it in the hotel? Again expectations and standards were not delivered. Response to the complaint was poor and we shall definitely not be returning nor recommending the afternoon tea! Huge disappointment.

The hotel itself is very beautiful, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Checking in was quick and easy, and my room was smart, comfortable, and had a lovely view. However, I was disappointed with two things during my stay. First, upon arrival I was asked to pay a deposit and was told it would be refunded within two days. Later, I was told it would take five days, and I still haven’t received it. What’s more concerning is that I was charged twice for this deposit and have only been told that the refund is “on its way.” Second, we ordered food through room service, but unfortunately it arrived burnt and not properly cooked. I had to call twice to get this resolved, though a lovely lady eventually helped us and made sure the issue was taken care of. Despite these issues, I really enjoyed my stay overall — the hotel’s facilities are great, and the atmosphere is relaxing. With some improvements to the refund process and room service quality, this hotel would easily be a five-star experience. I’d still consider coming back in the future.

Hyatt Rengency Hotel Birmingham is a very nice and cozy hotel with great facilities. It offers halal food, and prayer mats are available upon request, which I really appreciated. The leisure facilities are lovely, with a heated swimming pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and spa. However, my stay was let down by the fact that the room did not have a smart TV as mentioned on the website, which caused a lot of wasted time considering that I planned to stay in most of the times. The hotel eventually upgraded us (to a similar room just a few floors higher) after several contact made to reception and a long wait, but I’m grateful to Kenza for her assistance. On checkout, Nandini was very kind and offered support for my next visit as a gesture for the inconvenience. There's also an issue with parking, which operates on a first come first serve basis. So if you park your car on day 1 and say you're staying for 3 days, you have to pay for the parking for 3 days ahead which is £27 for 24hr. During these days if you happen to take your car out and come back with no free parking space, you lose your money. Your slot is not reserved. It would be better if they charge us for parking when we are leaving the car park rather than making us pay in advance. Overall, a comfortable hotel with excellent amenities, but clearer information on room facilities would have made the stay much smoother. I would have come better prepared.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is located in a convenient location and offers excellent access to the city's popular attractions. The service at the hotel was exceptional, with the staff being friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist with any queries or requests. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed with modern amenities, ensuring my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was terrific, offering various options to cater to everyone's taste. The food quality was top-notch, and the service was prompt and efficient. Overall, my experience at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham was nothing short of exceptional, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay in the heart of the city.

The lobby is beautiful, a lovely place to sit and relax. The downside is, the bar wasn't open in the lobby and I had to go into the adjoining bar for a drink. Rooms are lovely, very comfortable. I love the chair and the bed. Robes are a nice touch, as are the toiletries and the cooler in the room. Most staff were excellent, aside from one person who cut me short. Check in and out was quick and easy. Sadly the breakfast wasn't as good as my previous visits, the bacon and Sausages were over cooked, and the eggs tasteless. It's a pricey breakfast so I was quite disappointed at the standard this time. The spa is nice, but there is no shallow end so if you intend on going in the pool, you must swim. The parking is a bit of an issue, there's not many spaces so it's usually full, and it's £27 per night. I parked at the Q Park at Brindley Place which isn't far away, and it was a little bit cheaper. Overall, everything was nice, but the standard has definitely dropped a little since my last visit unfortunately.

We had booked a double King and our stay was very relaxing and comfortable. The view from our hotel room was exquisite with the Library of Birmingham and the Christmas rides being lit up in front of it. The hotel is located in a prime location and highly accessible from the public transport. The staff is friendly and cooperative and their service was always quick. I would definitely choose to stay at Hyatt next time I am in Birmingham.

Right in the heart of the city. which means, Easy to access public transportations and the main attraction are Just in a walkable distance. The view is spectacular, the interiors and the ambience is astonishing. The hospitality is very good and the food taste really good. I love the secret garden restaurant. It has a bar restaurant as well which is accessible till early morning. I can say that it is one of the best Hyatt hotels I have stayed or visited.

This is by far the best hotel in Birmingham! The views are awesome, the service is first class from check in to concierge… Room super clean and that was important for us bringing our 4 year old. Special mention to Adriana who was absolutely amazing and made our stay special, thank you.
