βSo the person tending to me his name was : Pavel We came to the hotel , he answered straight away , he greeted us kindly. He gave us our documents promptly , we signed it. He gave us our keys. He constantly asked us if we're okay , reassuring us. We made it to the hotel fine. The rooms are nice. Pavel made sure we had everything we needed for the night. He deserves a raise after such work because usually when I go to a hotel , even nicer ones technically. I just don't get that kind of service and I feel like the hotel , thanks to him , has left a good impactβ
βfulfils needs as a traveller . used this place twice in recent years. check in was easy as well as staff friendly. people walk past window and talk but that's not a big issue . as usual Travelodge ecosystem was user friendly. using TL as a family room was pleasantβ
βAs part of a large church group (20+) attending a Christian conference nearby we booked into this hotel for our three night stay. A number of the rooms are being upgraded which put pressure on the staff. However, every single request we made to the staff was met with a smile and impressive attitude to ensure our stay was as positive as possible. I cannot thank the staff enough. My wife and I were so impressed with their friendly customer service attitude. I would highly recommend staying here and hope that their employers appreciate them. On behalf of the church I would like to thank each and every one of you.β
βWe had our wedding reception at the Cobden Hotel in the Cobden Suite. Jessine managed the whole event and planning process who did an absolutely fantastic job. She walked us through our plans for the day and asked all the right questions in our pre-event meetings to make it perfect. Thank you so much to the team at Cobden for all your best efforts to make our event special, everything turned out great and the room looked amazing.β
β"I stayed at this hotel and honestly, it exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained, giving a sense of luxury and peace. The service was simply outstanding β everything I needed was taken care of promptly and with a smile. The staff deserves a special mention for their warmth, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile to make guests feel at home. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and top-quality service."β
βI really enjoyed staying here, i stayed for 4 months and I feel safe the receptionists are friendly especially mohammed and Ajit they make us feel safe. The management is also good.β
βMe and my family went there for 1 night and we really enjoyed our stay. Overall, the service and the staff were very nice and attended to your needs quickly. We left the hotel with smiles and comfort.β
βYou canβt review this place in the same way you would for a hotel you spend Β£60 + for. My review is relative for the price I paid. If you want a true reflection on whether to stay here read the below. I stopped here on a business trip with 3 others. Including breakfast it cost us Β£30 each. Can I really complain about the little things with prices like that? Parking was said to be an issue but directly outside the hotel there is a street, when we turned up I was able to park directly outside the hotel for free, no issues. The building itself is beautiful but like most old buildings needs work. They are refurbishing it. The staff have all been very friendly and helpful across the board. The reception area is lovely and so is the bar areas. The room itself was perfect for our needs. Yes the bed wasnβt the best and the room not the biggest but it was clean. What do you expect for Β£30??? All tea making facilities etc and coat hangers and hair dryers, TV etc etc. The room was a little cold at first but the radiator was on all night, once in bed no issues. If youβre with a partner this wouldnβt be an issue. The breakfast was fine too. Unlimited drinks, juices, pastries, cereal and toast. They take your order (friendly again) and the food for Β£5 was spot on. Would I stop here again? If I wanted a cheap night away in Birmingham. Without a doubt. It could be a magnificent place but because the building is old i understand itβs no cheap job!β
βWe had the most idyllic stay in the Old Dairy at Rowley Farm. The cottage was clean, cosy, and exceptionally dog friendly - with an enclosed garden that was perfect for our dachshund to roam around safely. On arrival, we were greeted by a lovely welcome pack full of goodies from local businesses, and a very detailed visitors guide that helped us get settled into the property. The bed and shower were particular highlights, as well as the incredible wood fired hot tub. There are lots of lovely walks in the surrounding area, and some brilliant shops just a short drive away from the cottages. We highly recommended a stay at the Old Dairy, and canβt wait to visit again in the future.β
Based in Kidderminster, this versatile pet care business offers both high-end cattery boarding and professional home visit services. The cattery suites are thoughtfully designed with spacious layouts, including hammocks, shelves, and background music for a calming atmosphere. For pets that prefer their own environment, the home visit service provides feeding, fuss, and essential care within the client's residence. The team is skilled in administering medication and providing specialized attention to rescue or nervous animals.
βFelt so comfortable leaving Lucy here knowing she would receive the best care. She has been several times and always looks so contented and well fed! Wouldnt go anywhere elseβ
βA wonderful caring place, supportive and kind. Our family dog loves staying here and we know sheβs safe and well looked after.β
βWe recently visited Kidderminster for the weekend to experience local attractions that included the Severn Valley Railway and Wyre Forest. Bewdley Hill House is convenient for both, being only a mileβs walk from Kidderminster Station and a few miles drive from the Forest and beautiful Bewdley, nestled next to the River Severn. The B&B is in an older property, so our room was traditional in style, but clean and comfortable, with coffee, tea, water and toiletries provided. There was also a television and free WiFi. There is off road car parking and we were able to leave our car when off sightseeing. We slept well and there was a good cooked breakfast to enjoy. Our hosts were friendly and obliging, which made for a relaxed and pleasant stay.β
βLeft my Archie at Nine Stones for 12 days and he loved it. They sent me pictures while he was there. Also it was his birthday and they celebrated it. Well pleased with this kennels and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Well done guys β€οΈβ
βHad the Bottomless Brunch here as a birthday treat, and we received great service from start to finish. It was my first time here so wasnβt sure what to expect but we really enjoyed it. A few more dishes could be added to the menu but what we had was delicious. We also had 2 cocktails each and a bottle of Prosecco on the table. Iβm sure they would have bought us another bottle if we could have finished it but we were taking it slow due to a heavy one the night before! Definitely recommend and would come again!β
βNever used the rooms at the Dewdrop.I have been to the Dewdrop 0n four occasions fairly recently.I found the service to be good. The food was fine and the location near Worcester is great but I would take a taxi to town parking can be difficult.β
βWonderful stay! Great place, super tidy and quiet even over the weekend, The facilities were spotless, and thereβs a pub, cafΓ©, and mini-golf all nearby, with the canal within walking distance. There are loads of activities in the area. We originally booked for three nights but ended up staying an extra night because it was so peaceful.β
βGood food but u pay for it . Good atmosphere . But prepare to payβ
βA fantastic traditional pub with a good selection of cask ales. Visited pre match at West Brom as a group of Pompey fans we felt very welcome. Close to train and tram. Proper pub food provided excellent value.β
βWe were staying in a cottage close by and took some time to decide where to have our evening meal. I am so glad we chose here. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel so welcome and the service was outstanding. The food was some of the best I've eaten in a long time.β
βOne of the best music venues in the area. Polite staff and good value. For bands, the stage is a decent size with a drum riser. House p.a. or use your own rig. It's a safe venue and I've not seen any trouble here in many visits over the years.β
βWe popped in for lunch and I have to say this place is a little gem! The staff were delightful and the food was delicious. Parking isn't the easiest but it's worth the trouble. Dogs are made very welcome which is a bonus.β
βWe had a very pleasant stay. The host was very helpful and friendly. We liked that breakfast was included.β
βI stayed at Leaded Light Guest House on Match 5th 2025, travelling up from London. Helen was accommodating of me as a late arrival. Her sons were welcoming. The room was clean, tidy, and my stay was quiet. I recommend Highly.β
βLovely meal out for a birthday celebration. Excellent food, great service, (attentive but not pushy)....nothing too much trouble. They made a big fuss of our dog too. We've been several times previously and the food and service are consistently excellent. ......which seems to be quite unusual these days! Thank you.β
βThis modern hotel was a perfect find for us as we needed to be on Birmingham University Campus for a couple of reasons. We were welcomed warmly and were very impressed by the hotel facilities and architecture. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and air conditioned too, so perfect! En-suite and whole hotel was spotlessly clean and clearly well maintained. Evening meals in the bar were excellent, as was the service. Breakfast in the main restaurant was a buffet style, again, with excellent food and service. Really recommend and rate this hotel, and the whole experience. Thanks to all the team and Maureen at checkout.β
βAmazing customer service. My friend was unwell in the ladies toilet and the staff were absolutely wonderful and took no chances. They checked she was safe and that she knew us before letting her come out of the toilet and they were so kind once she was out. Special thanks to Olly for being amazing !β
