Our walking group went there for a meal after a damp walk in the lovely Wyre Forest. We had been booked in 2pm, but the restaurant allowed us to bring forward our booking because we had finished our walk early. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The service throughout the meal was excellent. There was a good range of dishes on the menu, including gluten free for one of our group. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had a large beer battered cod and chips. The fish was beautiful, white fleshy fish in a delicious light batter. I couldn't fault it. There was a nice warm atmosphere in the restaurant. The staff worked hard to make a good experience.

Lovely meal out for a birthday celebration. Excellent food, great service, (attentive but not pushy)....nothing too much trouble. They made a big fuss of our dog too. We've been several times previously and the food and service are consistently excellent. ......which seems to be quite unusual these days! Thank you.

Stopped in for lunch today and had such a lovely experience. The service was really welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed. The food tasted properly home-cooked and comforting, and the beer was excellent too. A great spot: would definitely recommend!

Had a very nice lunch with my wife. She had the cottage pie and I had sea bass fillets in white wine sauce. Both were decent size portions, tasty and well presented. Staff are friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it topped off our visit to Bewdley. Thank you!!

Stopped in with the dog after a long walk not expecting anything but the usual pub grub, however, the menu was fabulous, such a choice, not your usual everyday food, exciting and hearty meals. The atmosphere was warm, calm and relaxed. The dog was spoilt with gravy bones which she loved, as did we. Fire was on, really homely. Service was fast and so very polite. I'd go as far as to say the best food we've had in Bewdley (and we visit here alot). Cannot wait to come back and try more delicious things off the menu.

The service was excellent. The food was nice. Unfortunately, all the times I've visited (4 times), there's always been more than one of the main menu items missing (sold out). Sign of a popular pub, and it's nice to see a business thriving, just unfortunate for the diner. My advice would be to get in for lunch service or an early dinner. Regardless, it's a nice place to eat.

Lovely old pub with fire, tables and extended at the back. We had the veggie sunday roast, fish soup and soup of the day with cheesy garlic bread. And Pale ale to accompany was very tasty! Freshly cooked food, delicious, served quickly, great service. Would recommend
