βJoe and Andrew are really friendly and have a genuine care for dogs. I have taken my dog Gino now for two years and he is always well cared for. Joe even sends me photos/videos of Gino. I would highly recommend Ashwood Houseβ
βWe booked an apartment with Serenity apartments Sept 3rd and 4th. When initially booking, staff were very helpful over the phone and after booking, they contacted rapidly with details of booking. The apartment was lovely, had a jacuzzi, shower, tv with apps and a kitchen with all the ammenities needed. Very clean place and the staff were attentive with any help or enquiries. We were recommended some nice food places too. No disruptions, quiet and very cosy. We would definitely stay here again! A well--spent weekend.β
βAbsolutely delighted to have had this place recommended to me by my dog trainer. We have an incredibly anxious cockapoo and I never really believed we'd be able to leave her happily. She had a day visit to Croftmount followed by just a one night stay to see how she got on before we booked her in for longer. She ate well, looked relaxed in the photographs of her outside and even enjoyed cuddles. When we went to pick her up she went over to the lady who'd been looking after her to give her a nose bump first before she enthusiastically greeted us. I feel 100% confident leaving my dog at Croftmount and recommending it to others.β
βStayed here with a group of friends when attending a birthday party locally. Lovely rooms, clean and comfortable. Sue was really welcoming and helpful with local knowledge. Breakfast was first class, will definitely be back againβ
βThough I've only visited the grounds, the atmosphere is stunning and the few interactions I had with the staff were fantastic. They were professional and welcoming. Based on what I've seen, this looks like a truly great place to stay and dine in Halifax.β
βReally happy with Morton Villa Cattery. The staff were friendly and clearly care about the animals. The place is clean, well maintained, and my cat seemed relaxed and well looked after when I collected her. Would definitely use them again and recommend to others.β
βlast-minute (typical male) search for a Valentineβs night getaway led me to a place in the center of Haworth that was booked within seconds. Then, I came across this little gem, full of surprises. My take on it: a great place nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire hills. I visited during the coldest time of the year. From the first call I made to the moment I left, I was impressed. The lady who answered the phone quickly confirmed availability, and Karen (a lovely lady I met outside) has kept the place spotless for over ten years. You donβt get a second chance to make a first impression, and they nailed it. We stayed in the Charlotte Room, which featured light grey wallpaper with peacocks etched into it, beautiful beams, and a cozy ambiance. The room included a sauna, and I enjoyed a swim as well. It was excellent value for money. The pub was equally fantasticβdespite being Valentineβs night, they managed to fit us in last minute. The mealsβboth breakfast and dinnerβwere generous portions, and the service was warm and attentive. To summarize, it was a refreshing change; in a world where things often donβt live up to expectations, this exceeded mine. A couple I met by the pool mentioned they had visited three timesβthat says it all! Highly recommended. When leaving the car, we unfortunately had a small mishap. i.e., it didnβt start, bit of a conundrum. We tried to start the car, and with the cold weather, it refused. Rang AA and went to a local pub. Hati, a waitress, was super helpful and suggested we get a hot chocolate and some Biscoff biscuits. She invited us in to sit by the fire. To some observers, this may have appeared small, but in the throws of one of Bradfordβs most desperately cold winters, it was so welcome and so appreciated. Thanks to all, and big thanks to Karen, who attempted to help us jump-start the car with leads from her car to ours. Our only downside was we had to get home and missed out on shopping in the charity shops and some of Haworthβs shops, so it felt a bit curtailed. But it was our Valentineβs break, and my treat is getting to share time with Carolyn, my girlfriend, incidentally truly my greatest find.β
βLovely manor house with excellent food and 1st class service dining experience. Very attentive and professional happy, smiling waiting staff.β
βWhat a find this was. First impressions on entering the hotel, noticed that the garden was well tended with a neat, mowed lawn and pretty border flowers. A warm welcome and advice on where to park the car. Clean, modern and tidy throughout. Our spacious room overlooked the front garden and church on the road side, but was extremely quiet. The window opened fully, which is such a blessing as I do like fresh air, most hotels' windows only open a fraction. The bed was huge and comfy. The bathroom, very clean and midern, with plenty of fluffy white towels and a powerful shower. There's a hairdryer and iron if needed. Plenty of sockets to plug in your gadgets. Free WiFi. Smart tv. Breakfast was spot on, served by very friendly ladies, it came quickly and was hot and delicious, with quality bacon and sausage. Whilst waiting for friends, we had a short walk into the town centre. Which was quaint and had a friendly, warm feel to it. Close to pubs and eating places. Salts mill, Saltaire not far away, and a short journey into Bradford, which is a lovely city, with lots of historic architecture. Perfect. Will definitely be staying here again.β
βThis is a new practice that has recently opened, limited parking. Waiting room with lots of toys and treats for sale, very reasonably priced. Dog training available, and dog field.β
βMy 3rd time staying here maybe more! Less than 5 mins walk from everything stations - shopping centre and food places. The rooms are far better than other places in the city. Clean and good service, highly recommended.β
βWonderful people our dog came back from his stay a happy boy and they must have used a magician to clip his nails as we find it a nearly impossible task well done whoever did it :) will definitely use again :)β
βBradford Digs is not your average accommodation!. The decor is extraordinary β lots of African fabric and sculpture and red appliances. The back to back house is comfortable, clean, warm and well equipped. Irene, the host, is very friendly and helpful. The price is definitely right. The area is rough and ready and very Bradford. Irene has put together an excellent information pack. Itβs easy to get around on foot, bus, train and cab. A great experience.β
βThis stay was part of a road trip staying in similar ancient coaching inns. This one definitely had a more modern feel to it. The room was to a high standard and the bed was the comfiest on the trip. Breakfast was excellent. The bar is cosy and a nice place to pass a few hours. Car park was fun! But if you can get parked it is free. Great location. Staff were all great.β
βWe have spent 4 incredible nights in this hotel. Comfortable beds, clean facilities and exceptional staff. I wanted to make a special mention to Joseph from reception, who was very kind and always helped us. I hope we come back soon β€οΈβ
βAbsolutely loved this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfy. Food....exceptional. Shared an afternoon high tea with my cousin, what a treat that was. Good access to Bradford city and public transport. Reasonably priced room. Will definitely stay there again.β
βNice and clean hotel. Quite nice food.. Some staff members are rude though... Overall a nice experience.β
βThe hotel and staff were awesome, and the room was spotless, plus the hallway smelled amazing. But, I was bummed that the pool and gym were closed until noon, which was when I had to check out, even though I thought they'd be open. Also, the outlet in my room, 131, didn't work, and some of the furniture needs to be replaced because it's getting old.β
βLocation was perfect, 5 mins drive from Hudderfield Private Hospital. Hotel and room very clean and well equipped. The staff, especially Maggie and Sarah were delightful. Very friendly and professional. We had received some unsettling news and needed to get off some urgent emails. They assisted and were extremely helpful and empathetic. Housekeeping were ace too and slipped a courtesy note under our door, would we like our room xleaned, we had forfotten to pop the Do not disturb sign on the door. Ibraham was in attendance behind the bar and he too was a joy. We are returning to the area in the very near future and without doubt this is where we will choose to stay. Entirely exceeded our expectations.β
βThe conference lunch was delicious, and everything throughout our stay was excellent. We come here quite often, and this experience was good as always. Highly recommended! Silvia was extremely professional and made our visit exceptional. She helped check us in for our conference and hosted the entire event perfectly. We also saw her serving at the bar and look after reception β she truly does it all. After speaking with her, we learned she is a Supervisor, and itβs clear why. Very dedicated. We sure be back. Rudi was also very professional and those ladies looked after us regularly.β
βHad a lovely stay for 3 nights. So easy to get in. The bed was large and comfortable and there was plenty of tea/coffee/milk/sugar. Breakfast was plentiful with a full range of options, and served with a cheerful personal touch. The car was safe in the ample car park. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.β
βGreat to watch Football and The landlord is a great character, old school pub with old school vibes, be great once the rooms are open, lister parks on the door step so a decent spot to enjoy yourself at the right times.β
βA great weekend in Ilkley staying at this hotel for the first time. Excellent breakfast, lovely, friendly staff, very comfortable room and WiFi throughout the hotel which is a bonus in Ilkley. We shall use the hotel again.β
βWe recently celebrated my sisterβs baby shower at Gomersal Park Hotel, and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The team went above and beyond to make sure every detail was just right β the room was set out how we wanted it -ready to decorate, the food was delicious, and the service was so friendly and attentive throughout the day. Nothing was too much trouble, and the staff made us all feel so welcome. It was such a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, and my sister was over the moon with how beautifully everything came together. A huge thank you to everyone at Gomersal Park Hotel and Imogen especially for helping us create such special memories. Iβd highly recommend this venue for any celebration β weβll definitely be returning!β
βWe organised an academic workshop for 10 people with Marise, the brilliant hotel manager. The overseas people loved the old-fashioned hotel and the value for money was exceptional. Whilst they have no restaurant, they allowed us to bring in food and eat in their grand dining room whilst providing plates and cutlery. They also provided soft drinks, coffees and tea throughout. We hope to go again.β
βI stayed here for two nights while visiting family. My double room (number 9) was spacious and comfortable with beautiful views across the gardens and countryside (see photo from window). It was also wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was the traditional full cooked, or you could have porridge. As I was on holiday I had the cooked breakfast both mornings, and highly recommend it. Fruit and cereal were also available, though no yogurt. The hotel has Wi-Fi throughout, including the rooms. Evening meals are available in the restaurant on request most nights except Sundays. There is a small bar, although I never saw anyone in it. The location is just a few minutes from Bingley town centre, but very quiet. It is also just a few hundred yards from Five Rise Locks and the Liverpool Canal, which are picturesque and interesting. Service at the hotel is friendly and professional, without being intrusive. I felt very relaxed and comfortable staying here, and will definitely return in future.β
βI had to write this review as soon as we left. We only live over the road and I have to say the owner, the staff, the food and drink were beyond all expectations. We enjoyed every mouthful of our Christmas dinner and the service, the people and the atmosphere. In all the years of eating out I have never felt so welcome and had a service which surpasses theirs. I would like to thank everyone for such a pleasant and unforgettable meal. I will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone and we will be having our wedding reception there. The beer conaseaurs will be glad to know they keep a good pint. Merry Christmas to you all and keep up the good work!β
βStayed most of 1 night prior to early morning flight. Rooms usual Premier Inn standard. Extra tea, coffee etc available in reception. Had meal in adjacent Beefeater which was great. Hit cocktail hour (5pm) by chance and activated beefeater card for 50% off our food, so brilliant value. Taxi booked from hotel reception came exactly on time. Overall a stress free start to our holiday.β
βLovely clean rooms. Decorated for Xmas. Nice breakfast tea and toast served to table rest was self serviced. Hot choice with plenty of fruit pastries cold meats etc. lovely rooms.β
