Painless stay and incredibly friendly staff. Comfortable rooms and great to use a family room for a group of three friends getting separate beds. Only gripe is car parking but used the railway station car park for a few quid overnight.

Location not good as industrial estates all around. Room big and empty. Nowhere to put suitcases only on the floor. Very tiny table in corner. A very tiny place to hang clothes with no doors on. TV was absolutely small couldn't really see it. Kettle Coffee tea and accessories were just stuck on the tiny table with no tray under. Room so very basic. Only booked this hotel as said it has been refurbished. Pictures looked lovely on the site Rooms were nothing like the pictures. This hotel room was so empty. Would not recommend this if you are going by the pictures showing lovely rooms

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The place is extremely clean and well looked after, and the staff are absolutely amazing. A special thank you to Alex for her outstanding service β she was so friendly, professional, and made me feel very welcome. Iβll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this hotel to others.

Affordable and easy to book, nice clean room. The reception desk is on the first floor once you enter the building and go up the lifts which I wasnβt expecting upon arrival. Parking is a bit tight and not a lot of car parking spaces available and the tv in the room is a bit small but canβt really complain at the price. The lady who checked me in was lovely, overall a great effortless stay and experience.

This budget hotel is located in the centre, very close to Forster Square rail station. The rooms are what you would expect from a budget hotel. It is cheap and generally less noisy than other city centre hotels. The staff, such as Alex, are very friendly and helpful. I have stayed many times for work and always feel welcome.

Very central to public service travel hubs... Clean... Staff excellent and welcoming... The area is not very lively but not far to some OK pubs... Restaurants at that end of Town not good... Lots of people are apparently homeless... My room 418 at the top and end of a corridor was perfectly positioned... It was a blustery day and noise levels from outside were high... The toilet leaked in that it continually filled and the bathroom fan was noisy and on for the duration... None of which detracted from my view of the staff on duty they were excellent... Good value... though the noise issues would DEFINITELY trouble some didn't bother me...

Terrible night staying here. Fire alarm went off which isnβt the problem, it was scary to see that the staff in charge did not know what she was doing. Left outside in the freezing cold for nearly an hour at 7 in the morning while the staff is running around trying to turn the alarm off, she said she did not know what she was doing which made me think in a real fire people would seriously be hurt or perish in this hotel. No sense of FIRE SAFETY what so ever TRAVELODGE need to think of trading staff properly in fire safety!!! Fire alarm monitor had fault on there when I was checking out which meant this was not even working, did not feel so unsafe in a hotel before.

Me and my partner stayed over for a few nights and the service from front desk especially Kelly was amazing. We loved the rooms they were so clean and every morning they were touched up and refreshed. Staff were so welcoming and always happy to assist, thank you for the lovely service.
