Yeah not bad, good price for location, Premier standard type of hotel. Some reviews are from keyboard warriors my stay was quite pleasant, reception was welcoming & explained everything I needed to know very well. Would I stay again? Definitely.

I would give it zero stars if I could. I have severe health conditions plus disability plus mental health. I was placed in 1st floor with three kids and in a room they said they deep cleaned but carpet was dirty and dead spider in the bathtub and bed bugs in the beds. Me and my kids had such severe reactions to the bed bugs and dust that we practically ran out of the room after entering it 45mins later. Never ever would I recommend this place again. These pictures are from bed bugs bites and dust rashes on myself and my kids

I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. They charged me a deposit which they promised to refund, but I never received it back. I had to repeatedly follow up with my bank instead of the hotel taking responsibility. This was stressful and very unprofessional. I would not recommend staying here, as trust and transparency are very important when choosing accommodation.

We stayed for a few days over the weekend. The staff were all friendly and responsive but the facilities badly need updating and/or changing. The curtains in my room were permanently drawn as they would not open, the water coming from the shower and bath was close to scolding hot even at its lowest setting and could not be used properly. I told them about this and they did offer me another room to shower in but it should never have been this unsafe in the first place. The breakfast selection had no fresh fruit or other very healthy options, and aside from the sausages, the cooked breakfast I received was appalling. The eggs had been so overdone they were falling apart, the bacon tasted odd, and the mushrooms and tomatoes were still cold. The building is what it is - something akin to a motel from the early 1970s - but the other issues are easily fixable.

Horrendous do not stay here. My first room has stained carpets, curtains and most importantly had an infestation of some type of bug which were on the carpets, skirting boards and on the bed and under the mattress. I asked to switch rooms and was given a room in the same building. This room was slightly cleaner however still infested with bugs. Pictures seen below. I have tried to contact the hotel for a refund as I ended up sleeping in my car, and have had no reply hence why I'm writing this review and have also been in contact with the local environmental health department at the local council. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Me and a friend booked a room to stay in as we were going to a concert. I would say don't stay here the first room we went into the toilet seat was not attached to the toilet, and had three beds which we only booked a two bed room. We went and complained and were given another room, this room was filthy the iron was broke which is dangerous, the kettle and cups were dirty, the curtains and bedlinen were ripped, toilet seat moved around, the tv remote didn't work it was a generally dirty room which needs a lot of updating, my friend got bite marks so we booked into the hotel down the road and requested a refund.

Upon arrival first impression from the outside it's looks run down, dirty, unkept and uninviting, we weren't surprised to find the room was just so too. Dirty, dull, dated and desperate for modernisation. Found dirt, bedbugs and rice in the bed on mattress topper, the whole room was unclean, Cancelled our stay had a full refund. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

It was a plain block of Council flat refurnished to rooms. Nothing wrong with that but didn't have have such dark colours in rooms to make it worse. 3 of us has a triple room with 3 bed. It has surprisingly comfy beds, so we had a good sleep. Tea making facility worked well, got more supplies when ran out, no issue. Good TV, good WiFi. Room we were assigned was ground floor opposite reception. You could not have a worse room, luck it was cold, so windows were shut otherwise noisy. Receptionist wouldn't change our room. Heating in room was off when we got in, so it was freezing but warmed up OK once turned on full. £138 a night was OK, just could have been so much better.

What a shocker! I usually check reviews before booking but this was made in a hurry, made for a function for our daughter. Hotel appears to have some form of social house in part of the complex. The receptionist was shouting at kids loitering around when we arrived. The rooms are like mini flats reached by shared outdoor stairways. These are carpeted but in a foul state. We had to navigate some awful substance to get to the room. The hair dryer in the room didn't work, the shower trickled water whilst held in place by a spoon and the overall condition was tired and dated. I'm ashamed to say I paid £160 for this hovel with a cheap greasy breakfast. Don't recall a place like it and embarrassed to post this having been had! But don't want people falling for the same disappointment.

Room was clean, as were towels and sheets. No room service in the three days I was there, you must be there for 4 days before they consider you may need your room serviced - according to reception on checkout. I had paid a 100 gbp deposit on arrival - on top of the prepaid room charge - and 16 days later Im still waiting for this to be returned, despite frequent communication from self. I had stayed here previously as the location is good for my purposes when in Brum, but I will be looking elsewhere in future.
