We came with four families, grandparents, and three dogs for a late Christmas break, and it was absolutely perfect. The grounds are beautiful, the swimming pool was a real bonus, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. But what truly made our stay special was the staff — incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive throughout. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. We couldn’t have asked for more.

My partner and I came all the way from London, it turns out that it’s absolutely nice place to stay and escape for city life! Love historical place and spa, this hotel perfectly combines both. I feel mentally and physically relaxed and nourished after staying here for a long weekend.

Our team had a fantastic couple of days at New Hall Hotel for a team building event. Everything went really smoothly from start to finish. The whole team at the hotel were exceptional – super friendly, polite and helpful throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms and facilities were of exceptionally high quality and we absolutely loved the private dining room - we weren’t expecting that and it made our evening meal all the more special.

What a fabulous hotel. We were down for a funeral last weekend and decided to stay two nights as we had a considerable travel time. The staff at reception (Abbey I think?) and another girl were incredibly helpful and even insisted on taking our case up to our room - in fact all of the staff went out of their way - literally- they didn't just tell you ,they stopped what they were doing and showed you in person - amazing! The room was delightful and incredibly warm and cosy - the leisure centre was excellent and the food at breakfast and the second evening when we dined in was excellent on every occasion. Really cheered us up for what was a a sad occasion otherwise. Thank you again - will definitely stay there again when in the area.

My friend and I recently stayed here for a spa weekend. We have been to a few hotels and spas in the Birmingham area but this hotel is the best we have been to. The hotel and grounds were very well maintained. The staff were so friendly and professional, nothing was too much to ask. Our room was very nice and the bed was so comfortable. The spa treatments were amazing the staff are clearly experienced and well trained. There was no pushy sales chat to buy any of the products after treatments, they told you what they used and you could try the testers if you wanted. The food was very nice and there was plenty to choose from at breakfast. We both came away happy and relaxed and felt as if we had been properly spoiled. Really recommend this hotel for a weekend break.

Went for afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday - with elderly mother in wheelchair - on the snowiest day in ages. Was super impressed at how clear the access to the hotel was. Felt completely safe getting in there as the entire long drive was clear as were all the approach paths to the entrance doors. The staff were exceptionally helpful helping us in and as ever the afternoon tea was excellent with a lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes. Brought home enough for another whole afternoon tea!

Great, I booked a spa day with afternoon tea and a facial. It was a really nice day and I was able to use all the facilities including Steam Room, Sauna, Jacuzzi and Swimming Pool more than once. A bit pricey at £100 but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The beauty therapist gave me some great tips on how to look after my skin. I would attend again.

This place was a great find. The grounds were beautiful and well taken care of. Our room was cozy and clean. The food was good, the spa was amazing. The massage treatment by Laura was fantastic! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing experience.

We came to New Hall for a mini babymoon and we loved it! Beautiful grounds, such wonderful service and brilliant facilities. Really family friendly as well which was key for us. The kitchen blended food for our little one at meal times, and were always happy to bring us warmed milk when we needed it. A lovely travel cot was provided with a sheet, and they also left a pack of wipes for us which was super handy. Thank you, New Hall! We will be back.

For transparency; I stayed here for a conference at the hotel, and my stay was paid for by the company not myself!! The hotel is beautiful, historic, and well presented. You do pay for that privilege though! My room was spotlessly clean, well stocked with tea, coffee, and washing essentials, and was very comfortable. I was worried it might be cold due to the single pane windows, but the heating worked well and the bedding was warm too! :) Breakfast was lovely, full English done perfectly with my choice of eggs. The filter coffee was also really good. The bar is stocked with a good choice of spirits, and it appears an amazing choice of wines... The staff were so helpful over the two days, and although our event threw them a few curve balls, they dealt with them professionally and my experience was seamless! The gardens and setting are beautiful, and I'm sure I could have just spent time wandering around quite happily! Literally my only complaint, which I cannot really mark down on as I wasn't the one paying the bill, was that £4.50 for a cappuccino seems a little on the steep side. It was very nice though! I can fully understand why couples use this as a wedding venue, and I would love to be able to stay here again in the future!
