   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve just checked into this fantastic hotel and the experience has been exceptional from the moment I arrived. The hotel is clean, modern, and contemporary, creating a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The staff truly make this place special. Hamdi went above and beyond to assist me with my wheelchair, offering patient guidance and helping me access the closest parking available. The entire team showed genuine care and kindness, which immediately put me at ease. I was kindly upgraded to a room better suited to my accessibility needs, and the seamless help with luggage made check-in completely stress-free. An excellent hotel with outstanding service and compassionate staff — I highly recommend it.

   Very unhappy with the service provided here. We attended for the small business awards, was charged over two hundred pounds for a one night stay. After speaking to a couple of associates also staying at the hotel who were charged one hundred and thirty pounds for the same room, a huge difference I made a complaint and was told there was nothing they would do about it, a friend of mine made the same complaint and was offered a complimentary breakfast. When I mentioned this I was told this is not something they do and I must be mistaken. Needless to say he and his wife got their free breakfast and we were left paying over the odds, no breakfast and a broken shower head in the room.

   Our stay at the Loft Hotel was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we checked in, everything felt smooth, easy, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome right away. You could tell they really cared about giving guests a good experience. The room itself was clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The layout made great use of the space — bright lighting, cozy bed, and that sleek, minimal look that just feels refreshing after a long day. Everything we needed was there, and everything worked perfectly. The overall vibe of the hotel was calm and relaxing. It had that mix of style and warmth that made it easy to unwind. Whether it was grabbing a quick coffee in the morning or just chilling in the room, it all felt effortless and comfortable. All in all, it was a great stay from start to finish. No complaints at all — just a smooth, enjoyable experience. Five stars for comfort, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality. We’d definitely stay again.

   Fabulous stay. Picked this hotel for location - right by the Aston Uni campus as campuses are always nice spaces, and we wanted to be able to run in the morning. Great location quiet and green spaces nearby but just a 15 min walk into bull ring. Really cool hotel, friendly staff, clean comfortable room with lovely bathroom and huge shower! Wonderful buffet breakfast - super coffee and avocado smash for toast. Parking was easy paid for on road outside, but if not car park nearby. Check in and out times generous. Tiny things, would like few extra milks in room and a soap dish for the bar soap once opened but that’s it. Would 100% stay again

   My husband and I spent one night at the hotel and had a wonderful experience! The room was clean and comfortable, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The dishes from the kitchen were absolutely delicious – every meal was perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Compliments to the chefs for such high-quality cuisine! I would especially like to thank Anshika, our waitress, for her exceptional service – always smiling, professional, and very attentive to every detail. She truly made our dining experience special. The reception staff were also very helpful and welcoming, making the check-in and check-out process smooth and pleasant. A big thank you as well to Valentina, the bartender, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and made amazing drinks every evening. Her Espresso Martini was absolutely delicious – the best we’ve ever had! Overall, a fantastic experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

   Stayed here as I was attending a conference next door. I visit Birmingham often and in future will choose this hotel to stay in. I was pleased with my room and staff were great. There was only a slight blip on arrival as the rooms were not ready. I have a disability and wasn't feeling too great, I was well looked after & had a coffee. Would highly recommend.

   Lovely big room, modern and clean. The bathroom was also nice with a powerful shower. Nice touches like take away cups in the room. As downsides the WiFi was not working in my room and the car park is a few minutes walk and not free for guests

   Stayed at the Aloft apartments over the weekend and was very impressed with the level of service provided. The check in process was very fast (considering it was the world cup match and there was a lot of people in the reception and bar area) the lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice I was impressed with the design and overall just everything about the apartment. We didn't book for breakfast so I'm not sure how the breakfast is but if the apartments/staff are 10/10 I'm sure the breakfast would've been too:) The location was nice and quite, we didn't hear noise from any other apartments within the building. Only issue is parking even though its not that big of an issue if you are willing to walk literally 5 mins away to a secure car park across the traffic lights then your fine, but there is no car park for the apartment itself but like I said a 5min walk to a secure car park does no harm. Overall a lovely place to stay if your ever travelling through Birmingham. Would definitely recommended staying here and will definitely be revisiting!

   The good points; the hotel is lovely, great facilities, immaculately clean, really friendly staff, spacious rooms, super comfortable beds! Nice bar area with pool table, fantastic food and good value for money and a great breakfast. Also, I've never had a better shower! Even at home! The nagging issues; I stayed on the fourth floor and the call elevator buttons weren't working properly, I often had to go up to go down. The area (Aston) is a little grim, but that's subjective I guess. Great for my stay given my business but about a good 20 mins walk from the heart of the city. Sometimes if it was busy, dinner was bedlam. On one night I went down to eat at 1930, got told to return at 2030, ended up getting my meal at 2200. To be fair they offered to refund it without me even asking and gave me free beers so I was happy with that remedy. All in all four stars for now. I've booked again so it can't be bad! If they fix the little annoying bits it'd be a 4.5 (location being the only thing stopping me from giving five).

   Such an easy review to write. Rooms clean, facilities great etc etc. Now for the real reason for the review. The staff are outstanding and by that I mean all staff so it’s leaves me little room left to relay just how much some staff go beyond outstanding but here it goes. The restaurant manager, the waitresses the bar staff all superb but a special appreciation to the evening staff the lovely ladies at reception, the night manager who absolutely gets what hospitality should be (that includes all her team including security) I’ve stayed at many hotels and this one takes pole position in the people that work there and run it category. The only way I can think to explain it is if you were to imagine your best friend owns a hotel and invites you to stay several nights… that’s how they look after you. On a side, this was our first visit to Birmingham and our take away regards what we experienced was lovely, everyone friendly, city is bustling, so much positive energy. Only one visit but I’ve got to say… I like it more than London. Thank you all at Aloft Birmingham.
