A large and beautiful park in east London, a great place for all to spend leisure time. open for all and have many entrance, lots of greenish trees, a great place for walking, cycling and playing. there a small shop so anyone can enjoy ice cream and coffee. Accessible for wheelchair users.
A beautiful park that is well looked after. It also has a place you can get a cup of tea or ice cream, beautiful nature, pounds and widelife and so much more to see. Plus it is very big and worth going too.
A bit of a secret in east London. A short walk from Wanstead tube station, this park offers a lovely stroll through woodlands and around artificial lakes. There are the ruins of the old estate which are very picturesque. There are public toilets and you can get refreshments from the tea hut.
Recently visited Wanstead Park after having gone here regularly as a little girl. It’s a beautiful place and has a special place in my heart. Lots of wildlife, including kingfishers, birds of prey, and herons. I recommend visiting if you’re in the area and want somewhere quiet and scenic to walk.
Breath taking park! Spent a few hours here, could have easily spent the day and carried a picnic and blanket to sit on. Lakes, streams and wonderful tracks in and out of beautiful woodland.
