“Took my partner here for dinner, when I say I can't recommend this place enough, I mean it! The food is incredible! Some of the best food I've had in a while. Literally bowl licking good! The owners are fabulous as well so full of life and personality! Really making you feel at home and well looked after whilst you're there. The venue is so unique and eclectic that no matter what, your visit will be an experience you won't forget!”

Our waiter not only offered advice to suit our pallet but explained even what spices were used. Wow what a fantastic meal. “Afternoon tea as a birthday treat all arranged by my son who lives in Australia. A perfect afternoon for my sister (who was in on the treat) and myself. Good choice of sandwiches, savouries, and cakes. Very pretty crockery, as much tea as we wanted. The service was excellent. We bought some of the cake home as there was so much. We have been here before and will certainly go again. As an added extra, my son arranged for a bouquet of flowers to be delivered during our tea.”

“Fantastic Hong Kong style dishes, with a similar vibe to a cha chaan teng (but fancier). I had the macaroni with fried egg and luncheon meat in bone broth; HK style french toast with biscoff spread; and HK milk tea. I feel much more prepared to take on the cold winter now! Reasonable prices for the quantity and quality of food.”

“What a beautiful place to walk around and see many birds. The Visitor hut wasn't open when we went on Sunday but there are toilets, café, and small shops at Middleton Hall a short walk from the car park. £4 parking for non members.”

“Had a fantastic visit to RSPB Sandwell Valley recently! It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot that’s perfect for birdwatching and relaxing in nature. The staff and volunteers were really welcoming and helpful. During my visit, I spotted some amazing birds, including oystercatcher, lots of geese, and many other species. The hide is brilliant — well maintained and perfectly placed to give you a great view without disturbing the wildlife. It’s such a calm and relaxing place to sit quietly and enjoy nature. The only downside was a few bike riders passing nearby with very loud engine sounds, which disturbed the peace a little and seemed to unsettle some of the birds. It didn’t ruin the visit, but it would be even better if the area could be kept quieter for both visitors and wildlife. Overall, it’s a wonderful place and I highly recommend a visit if you love nature, birds, and some quiet time outdoors!”

“Really nice place. Took my 3 year old who's trains mad - he loved seeing the different engines that were running, steam and diesel. Plenty of trains so never a long wait and it never felt overcrowded on the trains. The route isn't too short and plenty to look at as you go around, you can get off half way round and go to a play park and then get another train back, if you want to, or just sit on the whole way. We ended up doing 3 trips, my little one would've been happy doing more! The staff are really friendly and that makes a huge difference, they're always waving to the kids, chatting and happy to take photos etc, really makes it a nice atmosphere. It's nice to see how passionate they are about their hobby. Mostly open Sundays and more days in school holidays, so make sure to check it's open, but well worth coming to Kingsbury for this.”

“Lovely park. Kids (and grown ups!) love the obstacles. Picnicking in the fields is nice in summer, and racing snowballs down the stream is great fun in winter!”

“This was a lovely walk around a lake, with good bird life, plenty of fish topping and leaping, and there must be a Heronery near as we saw about 20 fly into the lake, plenty of butterflies on the wing, a few information boards would be useful and some road signs, the map was a bit faded, a few more benches would be nice to sit and watch the wildlife, overall it was a great visit.”

“Amazing view of the skyline, you are over 1000 feet above sea level. A lot of shaded areas too, and a lovely wooded area going down the side of the hill”

“I love walking my dog around the boating lake and watching the boats when the club has an event. I am, however, very worried about the Environment Agency’s plans to flood the parkway as part of a scheme to allow development downstream. We need to protect our green spaces. Weoley Hill and Manor parks are also included. People need to know so they can object to it. It will involve 3 metre high embankments being built and the relocation of the old boat house. Having recently seen the sewage on the path in Bournville Park - How can we be sure there won’t be sewage in the flood waters as well?”

“I recently dined at Mezze Restaurant and had an exceptional experience! The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered a falafel wrap, chicken kebab, batata harra, and tea, and each dish was bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The service was incredible; the staff made sure we were very well looked after from start to finish. I felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated throughout my visit. I would definitely recommend Mezze Restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal and outstanding service. I'll certainly be coming back again. Thank you for everything!”

“I have eaten in and taken away from this shop a number of times now and have been all round impressed. The customer service is above and beyond with the politeness/smiles of the staff. There are always customers coming and going right up to closing time at 11pm. The seating area is spotless, there is a sink to wsh your hands too with liquid soap. The prices are great too. This shop is a gem on Brierley Hill High Street and I would highly recommend everyone buy from them.”
