“Hood park for both kids and dog walking also a footie pitch”
“Just brilliant! Arrived at 20:15 to a packed restaurant, every table taken. We were greeted by Ella and advised there would be a 15/20 min wait for a table and then a further 20/25 min wait for food but they could get an updated eta on food once seated. After a short wait we were seated and we ordered on the app. Our food arrived in 6 minutes, eating at 20:45. Every vacant table was cleared and cleaned instantly. All staff were lovely, all working extremely well together under the care of Ella. For a completely full restaurant they were running smooth as a whistle. Thank you.”
“Have recently started using this place as my "go to" for pizza night. Had it 4 times in the last few months trying different pizza combos. Each time I have enjoyed it thoroughly and have come back. Not had a bad experiences. Staff friendly and great pricing. Would reccomend.”
“What a beautiful place to walk around and see many birds. The Visitor hut wasn't open when we went on Sunday but there are toilets, café, and small shops at Middleton Hall a short walk from the car park. £4 parking for non members.”
“Afternoon tea as a birthday treat all arranged by my son who lives in Australia. A perfect afternoon for my sister (who was in on the treat) and myself. Good choice of sandwiches, savouries, and cakes. Very pretty crockery, as much tea as we wanted. The service was excellent. We bought some of the cake home as there was so much. We have been here before and will certainly go again. As an added extra, my son arranged for a bouquet of flowers to be delivered during our tea.”
“I had an awesome picnic time with my friends and family. There were games for most age groups, it was a great time.”
“Room was pristine, bumped into the housekeeper as I was checking in and she made sure I had everything I needed. The hotel is attached to a charming country style pub with amazing food and fantastic staff. The location is on a busy road but also a 5 minute bus from the town centre which was a beautiful place to spend the day and has lots of local amenities. I would recommend this hotel to a person travelling alone or as a couple for a peaceful retreat as the location has fantastic transport links all over the country.”
“A really nice bird hide, but the trek from the car park is quite long”
“I love maelstrom so much and I'm my opinion is the best flat ride in England. Me,my friends and my family love it (:”
“We went for winter wonderland and weren't disappointed. It was absolutely brilliant and we'd definitely come again, there's something for everyone! From snow play to a pantomime and Christmas music, it put us into the festive spirit, the decorations outside were amazing too! We were gifted our tickets via Acorns Children's Hospice and the disabled access was amazing too!”
“Our family had the most wonderful stay-and-play experience at Drayton Manor Resort, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! My wife, our 5-year-old son, and I visited recently during their Halloween special, and it was a magical experience from start to finish. Everything — from the themed décor to the warm hospitality — made it one of the best family getaways we’ve ever had. The highlight of our trip was, without a doubt, the Thomas Land theme park. Our little boy is a huge Thomas the Tank Engine fan, and seeing his face light up when we entered was priceless. He absolutely loved riding on the Thomas-themed trains, meeting his favourite characters, and exploring all the fun rides designed especially for younger children. The park was beautifully decorated for Halloween with pumpkins, friendly ghosts, and cheerful seasonal music, creating a festive yet family-friendly atmosphere. Every corner had something new to discover, and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into making the experience enjoyable for both kids and parents. We also stayed overnight in one of the Thomas & Friends-themed rooms, and it was simply amazing. The attention to detail was outstanding — from the Thomas bedding and wall art to the little touches that made our son feel like he was sleeping in Sodor itself. He was so thrilled that he didn’t want to go to bed, and the next morning, he didn’t want to leave! In fact, he kept asking if we could stay “just one more night” so he could go back to Thomas Land again. The staff throughout the resort were friendly, helpful, and always smiling, which made the experience even better. The food options were great, and everything was clean, well-organized, and family-oriented. Overall, Drayton Manor Resort is a dream destination for families, especially those with young children. We created some truly special memories and can’t wait to visit again — maybe next time for Christmas or summer!”
“Amazing food. The lamb Karahi was perfectly spiced and the service is really friendly. Good portions and a good range of food. 100% recommend.”
“loved this ride and its three drops, however the drying machines dont do much and a towel would do a better job on most days”
“I pay respect to the 11 year old girl who fell off this ride and died 15 mins away from my house. R.I.P, I pay respect to the family and friends of the girl too.”

“IT WAS AWESOME I dont care how long it was If you ever go to Drayton Manor this is the ride you have to go on”
“An entirely new experience for this 66 year old! I jumped as part of a team effort for Homeless One, an organisation that offers help for the disadvantaged and vulnerable of Birmingham. To say that I was a bag of raw nerves doesn't even come close, but the guys on the ground and in the 'cage' during the ascent were utterly brilliant; they boosted my confidence no end. An unforgettable day and thank you for making it so memorable.”
“DID YOU KNOW BEFORE THOMAS LAND WAS A THING THIS RIDE WAS CALLED ARRIVA CRAZY BUS”
“Really nice reserve. Perfect for walks and day out”
“This is definitely my favourite ride as well. You get to shoot water when you’re on Captain, or if it isn’t water you get to move the lanterns up and down and side to side. I talk to a staff member about turning his horn up if it’s working.”
“This ride has changed my life. I went in as an unpure soul, wanting to see the light. But then I went on Toby's Tram Express, and the light, I have touched.”
“Fun and thrilling (for children) spinning ride. It can hold 32 riders with 2 in each boat, and the ride travels roughly about 7rpm. If you’re a solo rider then your best bet is to sit on the left-hand side. 1m minimum and 1.2m unaccompanied.”
“Like crazy cups but half in the air.”
“Must visit, great food , helpful staff without any wait at all.”
