“Well all I can say is perfection. I've had the pleasure of tasting the amazing pizzas before our wedding which took place last Friday so I knew how delicious they were. When we started planning our wedding I knew exactly who we wanted to serve throughout the evening of our wedding. From start to finish Eliar was super focused, always available to speak to and discuss anything and totally worked around us on the day and on delivery of the van etc to our venue. I can honestly say I've had that many compliments about how gorgeous the pizzas were and how lovely and friendly you guys were. Know one had to wait around for a slice and was so relaxed just exactly how we wanted it to be. I cant wait to see you guys again and 1 million percent recommend Cofton Pizza for any event or go see them wherever they may be. You made our day so special and won't ever forget it. “The private sushi making lesson hosted by Nari and Yoshie is absolutely incredible. From the moment you start they make you feel comfortable and welcome, sharing their expert knowledge about sushi, the ingredients and the history of everything you're doing. At the end of the course, all the sushi you have created you take away to enjoy in the evening. You are also provided with a follow-up document, describing all the techniques, ingredients and equipment used throughout the day, including locations in the Midlands to find everything! I whole hearty recommend this class as an experience, you won't be disappointed!”

We ordered a fusion boat which included many different pieces of sushi and nigiri, variety was great. All the food was amazing and the drinks were too. “It was my sister birthday and we decided to spend our dinner at a Japanese restaurant. The sushi was delicious, and well-price. The salmon sashimi was so fresh and came with thick slices. They also offered cooked sets for my sister since she is not comfortable with raw fish. I love my Koko Special Lychee too. The staffs were friendly and they even sang happy birthday to my sister.”

“Me and my colleagues went to this restaurant for dinner. In this restaurant we have to cook ourselves. I have ordered myself a steak and it was really good meat. My colleagues have offered prawns, sushi and more. The pictures are shown along with this review. The food has been well decorated and nicely mixed with spices. The raw food is being served so that the customer can prepare the food on their own taste and the level of cooking they prefer. Each table have an oven which allows you to cook your food. They do have a very good seating capacity in the restaurant. The restaurant is well decorated. I highly recommend this place.”

“This is not your traditional pizza place, it is truly unique with a fantastic menu and lovely staff! We had a half and half pizza with hot honey pepperoni (more places defo need to do this) and Flaming Florence! Both sides were delicious but the Flaming Florence definitely packed the spicy kick! We also tried a Smash Edition loaded box, and loved it! The burger wasn’t overly greasy (very rare compared to other burger places), the fries were loaded with sauce chicken and jalapeños! The highlight though was the freshly made chicken tenders, soft and succulent with a delicious batter on! We really enjoyed this place and would recommend to our friends and family! In addition, they have an amazing Gaza initiative until the end of the year. Where the owner will personally buy a hot meal for a person in Gaza by donating £1 from every £10 spent by the customer! Another amazing reason to support this local business”

“The BEST pizzas around! They have a well crafted, affordable menu. The pizzas we've tried so far have been a HIT! Everyone loved it! The presentation was beautiful, the toppings tasted fresh and the dough/crust was soft. The sides were very tasty too! Also, the sauces complimented the food very well. Great value for money!”

“Halal We came for the pizza but the oven was not working so we ordered burgers and wraps. The chicken burger is FRESH chicken breast. Not frozen! They even coat the chicken after you order so again super fresh. The chips is a very good portion. The chicken wraps are also delicious. We got the 2 different types. Both very delicious. The chilli sauce is also delicious I'll definitely go again hopefully when they fix the oven for the pizza as I've had their pizza before and it is devine!! Definitely recommend!!!”

“It is my favourite place for a cold day! The food is absolutely delicious, and nothing beats a warm bowl of soup on a chilly day. The restaurant has a really cosy atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a cozy meal. We’ll definitely be back again!”

“Atmosphere was amazing, Sanjoy prepared a great menu and shared tons of knowledge. Was surprisingly full afterwards despite the small taster portions. But there was a lot to try! Sushi was 10/10, tempura was 10/10 miso soup was 10000/10. Sea urchin is not nice though can't lie. Taste like soap. -7/10”

“Absolutely Outstanding! I recently visited Tokyo Izakaya and was blown away by the whole experience. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and authentically Japanese. You feel like you’ve stepped straight into a Tokyo backstreet eatery. The sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented; every bite melted in the mouth. I've tried Chicken Kastu Curry, Chicken Kastu, Akita Mango and Salmon Maki, and Volcano Dragon Maki. It was full of flavour and grilled to perfection. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations from both the food and sake menu. The Robata grill dishes were a standout, and the tonkotsu ramen was rich, comforting, and packed with umami. A big thank you to Jessica, Mukesh, and the entire team for the delicious food and warm hospitality. If you’re looking for genuine Japanese dining in Birmingham, this is easily one of the best. I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended!”

“It’s just so good! Sets the standard for excellent pizzas, lovely people and good drinks. It’s a cut above the chain sourdough pizza places and I love the relaxed vibe. Have probably been 5 times all in all and never been disappointed. A mix of groups, couples, families all catered for really well. Oh also a great selection of vegetarian options that are the norm rather than an afterthought. Really highly recommended. The pizza oven is very big and a nice feature too!”
