“Love this place. The nice DJ mix pulled us in, with house vibes instead of commercial music (rubbish) that other places on wind st offer. Emma made our cocktails and drinks and was super friendly and professional making our experience really nice. Will visit again and recommend.”

“Super art space in the centre of Swansea. Doesn’t look big from the street, but a large, well-lit exhibition space behind. Pleasant reasonably priced bar inside the entrance. Advertises local arts and cultural events. Staff are pleasant, polite and well informed. Has a roof garden which I imagine is very pleasant on a summer evening.”

“Excellent Sunday lunch, mixed meat, great variety of vegetables and lots of it, more than enough to go round. Stuffing and gravy were delicious too. Staff very welcoming and accommodating , nothing too much trouble and if you want more of anything you only have to ask and they will bring it to you straight away. Good selection of desserts which again were all delicious. Great atmosphere, it was busy but staff were always attentive. Thank You for a lovely meal”

“We have been coming here for about 2 years. The coffee is super tasty and amazing quality and I cannot describe how delicious the pork cobano is. The amount of meat you get in the sandwich is super generous. The other food also looks insane but we love the pork cobano and have to order it each time. Lovely staff here also, just a great place to eat and drink.”

“Bunkhouse in Swansea city centre was a great spot to watch the football and catch some live music. Angharad was performing and created a brilliant atmosphere. A fun night all round.”

“Our family of 4 enjoyed what I can only describe as one if nicest Sunday dinners I’ve had in a very long time. My son, who’s quiet fussy inhaled his dinner and said the Yorkshire were out of this world. It’s a lovely quaint venue with wonderful staff, we’ll definitely be back again.”

“Really enjoyed our lunch here. We braved the elements and sat outside despite it being a bit chilly and overcast. However the food and drinks made up for the weather with excellent, ribs, steak and cod and chips. The scampi was a bit ‘manufactured’ with more batter than fish but still passable. Good Guinness and beer and a very pleasant lunch altogether. The service was pleasant and prompt.”

The atmosphere was buzzing yet relaxed, and their dog-friendly policy made us feel even more welcome. The beer garden by the river is the perfect place to unwind and take it all in. We were lucky to visit during the final week of their current menu. For starters, we had the vegan fishcake served with garlic mayo and tomato salsa—unbelievably realistic and delicious—alongside perfectly seasoned meatless meatballs on toasted focaccia. Our mains - The stuffed butternut squash came with creamy lentils and new potatoes, while the plant-based Tuscan chicken was a showstopper. The sauce was so divine we couldn’t resist ordering extra bread just to savour every last drop. To finish, we enjoyed a vegan crème brûlée that was both impressive and indulgent—a flawless end to an incredible meal. We left full, happy, and already planning our return to explore their new menu. If you're looking for phenomenal plant-based food in a welcoming setting, The Brit is absolutely worth the visit. Bonus points for the wagging tails they welcome too!”

“Quite a bustling vibrant atmosphere, chilled relaxed environment. Order via QR code and wait for the goodies to arrive. Service was swift. Staff friendly. Had a pint of the local IPA. Went for the tex mex food and had a mushroom veggie option which was awesome, good spice fairly warm. Loved it. Took a few minutes to be seated, sometimes it is crazy busy. You can reserve a seat as well.”

“First time here since it's changed hands, we will definitely be returning. The decor and seats were so lovely and comfortable, they played nice music that complemented the ambiance. But the staff was the biggest thing that separated it from other venues, so friendly and welcoming. Our dog received 5* treatment, she might as well have been royalty. Thanks to the amazing chap who served us (didn't catch his name, he had a french accent), we are already looking forward to our next visit and will be bringing friends”

“My friend gifted me an afternoon tea voucher for two and it was an enjoyable experience! Lovely decor upstairs in the tea room, loved the paintings, and a wide variety of teas to choose from. We tried the 3 fruit teas and rhubarb was my favourite. The food was brought in not long after our teas were served. Well presented, as expected for an afternoon tea. The mini quiches were my favourite, along with warm scones served with clotted cream, jam and fresh strawberries.”

“Swansea jazz club is now based in a nightclub called CU in Mumbles. Jazz nights are usually wednesday or Friday but check the website for more gigs. The club is great with excellent cocktails at amazing prices (two for £10). The music is varied and always brilliant. We love the club and wish it were closer to home.”

“Was here on a Sunday morning for breakfast. A great welcome when I arrived, very friendly staff. A good selection of options for breakfast including veggie options. I didn't notice if they had a vegan option so you may want to check with them before you go. No steps to enter the premises from the street so easy access. Food was reasonably priced, well presented and was delicious. I'll be back and I recommend it for breakfast. Thank you!”

“I went for a Christmas meal with my nan and her friends who are all elderly, their service was outstanding they offered to come to the table to take their orders which i was really impressed with as you don’t see that much these days and as my nan has arthritis and shouldn’t be walking too much i was thrilled with this. The staff were kind and very hospitable. The food was big portions and delicious. Last minute a few of us decided to change our pre order and they were very accommodating I highly recommend this establishment :)”
