“Very helpful, dogs welcome in front garden and front dining room. We had starters as my friend is Pescatarian (no veggie options on the menu). Food was hot and very well cooked. IPA and larger delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet so can’t comment on atmosphere.”

“Amazing, authentic Portuguese dishes, made fresh. Real fries, not from frozen! You have to taste them. Nothing like the frozen ones! Friendly staff, we were well looked after. Coffee was outstanding too.”

“We had the most amazing night here. We had to find somewhere to book last minute to celebrate my sons graduation as the original place we had booked had to close due to a member of staff testing positive for covid. I called and explained the situation and the staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful. They managed to fit us in and in and I'm so glad they did. The food was absolutely incredible and nothing was to much trouble for the staff. I will be recommending this fantastic restaurant to everyone. Cannot wait to go back”

“We had our wedding at Llywn country house, after looking for a venue that was intimate and bespoke. The venue itself is perfectly set within its own garden with plenty of free parking. Each room unique with their original features, fireplaces and spotlessly clean. The food by chef Marius. Delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can really taste his passion for food. The staff bent over backwards to fulfill our needs and Llywn country house will always be a special place to us”

“This is a great night out and the D. J is brilliant you can see he loves what plays on his set. Bar staff are friendly and the drinks are good priced. It is well worth getting the £5 wrist band to get the drink promotion for the whole of the night. We love it and the club has A. C thank god. Lol Great night”

“Under £10 for a gin and tonic and 2 beers. The regulars were sitting mainly to the left of the bar, so seats available. Quite quiet so could hear each either talking. Looking forward to going again”

“This pub is a hidden gem!! Great atmosphere and an excellent selection of Real Ales. They do not do food and there is no TV so full marks on both counts. Visited twice recently and had a great welcome each time. Well worth a visit”

“Defenetly a hidden gem, I found it to be a warm and welcoming pub. Its cash only so make sure you have the coin not plastic. Proper old school pub with pool table,dart board and juke box. Pool table is busier thursday to saturday but quieter sunday to wednesday. Locals are amazing and welcoming and staff are awsum.”

“Stunning out of town pub. Food was lovely yet again. The portions are large to say the least.... Visited last week for my parents golden wedding anniversary. And again this evening for a dinner date... The owners are very friendly and make you feel welcome.... Will definitely be visiting again.”

“What I found hilarious was that my partner and I were watching rugby on Saturday evening, and someone made a potentially racist comment toward me. I didn’t pick up on it, but my partner did. Then my partner and I were both checked out of the pub, but the person who made the comment wasn’t. Interesting situation!”

“Lovely old pub on the green, stayed at nearby Trecco Bay and visited the pub a couple of evenings with the dog on an evening walk. Didn't eat but the food I did see looked amazing. Very friendly and dog friendly inside too.”

“Booked their downstairs area for my halloween party this year. The staff were so lovely and helpful throughout the night. Drinks were decently priced and no fee for the venue just a £50 deposit which i thought was a steal! Would definitely book a party here again! 10/10 recommend for venue hire!”

“Brilliant restaurant recommended by our son who’s at Uni there. Service was good, the food was delivered hot and fast. We even tried fruit smoothies. We ate a meal for 4 people and was served soo much food that my son took away a doggy bag full of the meat we couldn’t eat.”

Great ale (local and UK wide) & also a varied selection of world and continental lagers, which were very well presented. Very friendly staff who looked like they enjoyed working there...Fantastic views as the name suggested.”
