Great little friendly local pub. First time visiting and made to feel very welcome by landlord and visitors, will definitely call in again
Always call in to see John and his family which makes this place so special as you are treated as soon as you arrive made very welcome, great offer's on Small meals and a full menu if you want something more substantial, however we enjoy going in the early afternoon and the drinks are inexpensive
It has Stella Artois, what more do you need? Very nicely decorated and frequently has live music.

The landlord is one of the nicest blokes I have ever met even helped me fix my car. Very friendly staff too. Friendly locals highly recommend this pub.
Under £10 for a gin and tonic and 2 beers. The regulars were sitting mainly to the left of the bar, so seats available. Quite quiet so could hear each either talking. Looking forward to going again
Lovely meal but over priced. Charged £1.30 for a fried egg. My son had gammon and was asked if he wanted egg or pineapple. Others offer both. He had autism so as he's had both before he asked for both and they charged us £2.30 for one fried egg. Meals are overpriced.
I spent a lot of time in this place as I was growing up with my family on a Sunday afternoon and ended up working there as a weekend job when I turned 18. It's a lovely local and always has been. There's live music on a weekend a friendly atmosphere. The newest owners have done a lot of work refurbishing the place and everyone is welcome.
