My second meal here and it didn’t disappoint! Delicious home cooked food, plenty of choice, gluten free options too. Definitely worth a visit.

Found this place on the way back from a day out. Food took a little while but well worth the wait. All freshly cooked, not a scrape was left. Great deals, nice drinks. Staff were friendly. Couple parking spaces out the back, nice little seating area. Restaurant room, we sat in the bar with the sport. Looks newly decorated and clean. Seems they also have a good delivery/catering service. Would recommend

We’re down for the weekend and just picked this place at random, to be honest wasn’t expecting too much. We were pleasantly surprised, all the food was piping hot, all home made, or so it seemed, generous portions, and very tasty for “a pup meal”. Would defo come back to here. Staff were friendly and helpful, didn’t rush us to eat, 6 of us with a mixture of staters and all mains with sides (we couldn’t manage pudding, which I I was gutted about) all come to £120. Which normally at home would be closer to £200.

The half moon is the regular, when visiting Llanelli. Staff always super friendly, dogs allowed and the food is superb. The Guinness is a good pour too!

Attended for a last minute lunch, greater by a lovely lady who instantly made us feel welcome. It was quiet when we were there but the dining room was spotless and well set out. Popped to the bathroom (always check bathrooms, it’s a good indicator of cleanliness), again everything was really clean and fresh. Menu had plenty of choice. I opted for chili con carne and my friend had a steak (30% off on a Thursday). Both meals arrived in a timely manner and tasted as good as they looked. Will definitely come again, and maybe make an evening of it. Well done half moon, excellent service and food.

Staff were absolutely lovely. We had Sunday Lunch Carvery - it was just cheap frozen food heated up - do not expect fresh home cooked food! Potatoes, stuffing balls and parsnips were hard, unseasoned and rubbery. It was okay (we ate it), but they could do much better!

Great little local pub in the heart of Llanelli. A warm welcome with no nonsense homely food and attentive service. Would definitely visit again
