Ordered food here tonight 16/8/24 after taking time deciding which take away to use. Food didn’t turn up and when I rang several times it was clear that no one was going to answer as it’s close to closing. Many thanks for ruining our Friday night and congrats on losing a local customer.
Very disappointed this evening. Normally food is lovely. Ordered via Uber eats. Took almost 2 hours and we live in the same village. chips were cold, onion bajis were hard and dry as if reheated. Jalfrezi was extremely spicy. Although nan bread popadoms were fresh.
Good food but not the best dining experience. I went for a sit down meal, it's a really cold day in December and we immediately noticed there was absolutely no heating on. We all sat down and eat with our winter coats on and were cold. The guy who served us was miserable, didn't ask us for drinks and was just a bit moody. The food however was really good and tasty and I could understand why there were so many people there for takeaway. The price was also really good tbf but I rather pay a bit more and sit in a warm restaurant. Would go back for takeaway but not dine in.
Walked in and the gentleman was on his phone talking to his mates via his ear pobs and sat in the restaurant area, not ready to serve me or welcome me. The menu has a good offering but the food was not all that great. The chicken was tough and the rice was overcooked, making it soppy and not edible. The papadam I ordered must have been a day if not 2 days old, it was all soft and soggy, not crunchy at all. Won't buy again.....

Absolutely disgusting meal £35 spent on delivery order chips tasted like they had been there for over a week curry was full of water and even the bottle of coke was flat. Phoned to tell them and had attitude back over the phone.
Lovely, spicy and tasty food that arrived on time with excellent service. Will order again soon!
First takeaway from Bonophool. Little hiccup with ordering online but friendly staff sorted our order out over the phone with no problem. Food arrived in good time for a Saturday evening. Temperature hot and food tasty. I tried chicken handi, I would have liked to have tasted more ginger, nice flavour though. Loved the coconut chutney, not had that before with popodums. Delivery to where we are currently staying. Would recommend this restaurant. Thank you for your lovely meal. See you again when we next visit!
