   We ignored Uber Eats and Just Eats and decided we wanted a takeaway from Killay Spice so ordered directly with them. 2 hours later and we are still waiting. Totally understand it’s a Saturday night but don’t do takeaways at your busiest times if you can’t keep up! Even better, when I phoned for the second time to see how long it would be after we were told it would be delivered within the hour, they asked me to collect it!!! So, so disappointed. Will stick to the chain delivery companies from now on.

   Here’s a suggestion for a great Google Maps review for Killay Spice in Killay: Killay Spice is a fantastic place for anyone craving authentic and delicious Indian cuisine! (And halal)The food is bursting with flavor, and the menu has a great variety of dishes to suit all tastes, from classic curries to chef specials. The portion sizes are generous, and everything is cooked to perfection. The service is outstanding – the staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel truly valued as a customer. Whether dining in or ordering takeaway, the experience is consistently excellent. The restaurant itself has a lovely, cozy atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed evening out. Killay Spice is a real gem in the area, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for quality Indian food. Will definitely be returning soon!

   Food was good although portions were definitely on the larger side. They do the annoying cut up your naan for you which is never ideal as the cuts are never as suitable when you tear what you need to match the food you want to eat. Vindaloo wasn’t spicy in the slightest, not even a hint of it - it had great flavour so I ate and enjoyed it, but the kochi was a lot more spicy which was rather random. Staff are friendly, service is good and quick as long as you don’t order wine as that can knock them for six and take a while. Prices are really reasonable, location is good, there is limited parking right outside but there is plenty within short walking distance.

   This restaurant is amazing, came in at a time which wasn't busy and you can tell its popular with the alot of takeaway orders being taken. My family got the tandoori chicken, paneer vegetable biryani, chicken curry, garlic naan, masala chai and lemonade The waiter/manager was very kind offered to put in panner in the vegetable biryani and my parent had a nice chat. The decorations is beautiful with lovely music. The food was amazing finished it all!

   First time visiting Killay Spice with my wife. Didn’t book, but was greeted and sat down promptly. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had the chilli chicken fry for starters, followed by South Indian garlic chilli chicken with a garlic cheese naan and chips for mains. Overall, very impressed with a reasonably priced menu and good portion sizes. We will definitely be back soon!

   Wonderful time my daughter and i experienced last night. We turned up late after a concert and nothing was too much trouble. The waitress was delightful and helped my daughter choose something she'd not tried before from the menu. Even though near closing, we weren't rushed at all. The manager chatted to us, also explained the lengths they will go to deliver to keep good customers happy. Hard to find these days. Food was absolutely delicious and can't wait to go back...or order a delivery, now i know no area is beyond reach. Top class effort. Well done!
