“Stayed here for just £65 and was genuinely impressed by the value for money. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent – tasty, well-prepared, and generous portions. The staff were friendly and welcoming across the board, from check-in to the restaurant. The shower had perfect pressure (a rare find!) and the hotel is ideally located with easy access to some stunning beaches. Would absolutely stay again – a great find!”
“Location of this hotel is fantastic, right in the centre of everything I would need, and near the sea. Gorgeous room. The bathroom was very luxurious. There were lovely toiletries and I loved have nice thick towelling robes. The bed was huge and super comfortable. It was very easy to regulate the room temperature. There was a coffee machine, iron and hair dryer as well. Thick curtains were great for keeping the light out. The room was super clean, and the staff were absolutely amazing. Parking was quite easy. Overall the stay was wonderful.”
“A fantastic hotel with exceptionally hospitable staff. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and welcoming. The team went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, and the atmosphere was both warm and professional. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a pleasant and memorable stay!”
“I stayed here with my family and couldn’t of been happier with the choice. The staff from start to finish were amazing very helpful, cheerful and positive. I’m terrible at remembering names but every single one of the staff were positive nothing to say negative towards them, easy to find our rooms and ours was spot on. We went down on Halloween and in our room was a bag of sweets and a nice little card so the kids loved both the sweets (obviously) and the card as a nice gesture, the kids will remember this little detail I would highly recommend to stay here and I will be when visiting family again”
“Excellent service quality. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always smiling. A special thanks to Seema at reception; her kindness and professionalism truly made my stay more pleasant. The hotel’s waterfront view is beautiful and adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended!”
“I had to stay here once and everything was great. Clean room, neat bed, other amenities available. The staff were polite and courteous.”
“I recently stayed at Village Hotel Swansea, and it’s genuinely one of the best hotels in the city. The entire place is exceptionally neat and clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. One of my favourite things is the Starbucks on the ground floor — such a nice touch! They also have EV charging stations available in the parking area, which is extremely convenient. Overall, I absolutely love this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Swansea.”
“Very welcoming. Rooms comfortable and quiet. Food was good and there was a vast breakfast selection. Housekeeping tho did knock twice in morning they we had late checkout booked which they were not aware of.”
“I stayed at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Swansea and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was modern and stylish, with a wide range of amenities. The location was convenient, with easy access to all the best attractions and restaurants in the city. Overall, I would recommend the Delta Hotels by Marriott Swansea for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.”
“This was a great hotel. It was clean, the staff were friendly and very helpful and the breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed it every morning. There is also a cute outdoor area to sit closer to nature. The snacks from the bar were also delicious. The only small obstacle is that the hotel does not have an elevator however their staff help you carry your luggage up the stairs. the rooms are great, spacious and with plenty of commodities.”
“Great place to stay. Amanda and Dave, on the front desk, gave excellent service. Got checked in quickly, including sorting out parking to ensure I wasn't charged. They gave info on the opening times of the other services facilities and if I had any problems that they were there to assist. Bedrooms were clean and fresh, and had that freshly deep cleaned smell. The facilities overall are a bit worn with age, but nothing severely damaged, and it wouldn't take much to get these small things sorted. But this didn't detract from my stay. Certainly a place I would look forward to using again, after a long day of work and driving.”
“The staff were so understanding and helpful when I was staying here last month. There was a little mishap where I ended up not paying the breakfasts for my partner at the time. Instead of making it a big fuss, they simply asked I bring my card the next day to pay the rest. Apart from that, the bed was brilliant and I slept so easy. The dog did, too!”
“We didn’t stay here, we only came for a meal. It was winter, dark, and I forgot to take any photos (my bad). Anyway, it’s a lovely old building brought up to modern specs as far as I could see, the staff were all great, (we were served by a lovely Spanish guy who’s been there for a number of years I think), and the food was wonderful! We had the bread and cockles for nibbles, ravioli and wontons for starters then we both had a pie for main (I forget exactly what was in it but it was a rich gamey pie that went perfectly with the suggested bottle of red.) We wanted to try the deserts, cheese board, digestifs etc but were full to bursting so we’ll just have to go again and try harder. Thanks guys and gals. Xx”
“Lovely place to stay. Very friendly and great rooms. Thought of everything you might need for a great stay. Iron and ironing board outside rooms, water dispenser and extra tea, coffee etc outside the rooms. Even spare toilet roll outside the rooms. My room had a fridge and microwave and even a leather sofa to lounge on. Plenty of space to relax outside with a drink. Lovely breakfast in the dining room which is beautifully set out with tablecloths and all matching crockery. Have stayed her a few times. Can very highly recommend.”
“Honestly it is no wonder why they have won the best wedding venue in South & Central Wales for three consecutive years. From reserving the date, to the day of the wedding (and the morning after!) they have been nothing short of professional, friendly, and exceptional. They have been flexible when our timings or food choices changed. From reception, to the wedding team, and the bar staff and everyone else at the King Arthur have been nothing short of perfection. Our wedding day flowed so seamlessly and smoothly it was like something out of a fairytale. Our wedding co-ordinator Annelise has been amazing throughout, and we were well looked after in her capable hands on the day, whether it be an extra drink for us or a moments peace away from the beautiful chaos. Nicola looked after us in the evening and was amazing, and a seamless transition. Justin the DJ was great and had the dance floor bouncing! The food for our wedding was exceptional, and highly recommended by ourselves and our guests. The venue is just stunning, and a treat to have our wedding there. We have eaten at the King Arthur many times before and have never been disappointed at the quality of the food. It was so nice to receive so many compliments about our wedding from so many different aspects of it, from the food, to the staff, to the venue and much more. If you want the wedding of your dreams, look no further than having it at the King Arthur hotel. Thank you Annelise and everyone there, we look forward to coming back whenever we are holidaying in the Gower. I honestly can’t thank you enough for the amazing day you gave me and my (now) wife.”
“The hotel was a last minute choice after travelling down from Liverpool for the Triumph Adventure Experience in the Brecon Beacons. My wife and I were both really taken with the friendly, helpful nature of the staff, the great value of the stay and the wonderful atmosphere of the pub. There's good local eateries and a good breakfast in the hotel; we had two fantastic evenings in the bar playing pool on the well maintained table. Loads of pluses, including the nearby attractions such as the National Garden of Wales, Swansea and The Mumbles, the Brecon Beacons but the lasting impression I'll keep was of the friendly welcome. Brilliant.”
“The experience of a lifetime. A week in the house where Dylan Thomas grew up and got the memories that he later shared with all of humanity. The house is not an Airbnb. It's a return to the 1900s. The location is stunning.”
“We had a fantastic meal lunchtime today at Afan Lodge. The meals were very tasty and huge with lots of added extras. Excellent value for money. Service was excellent and friendly staff. I’d highly recommend a visit 5 stars from our family”
“We had our wedding at Llywn country house, after looking for a venue that was intimate and bespoke. The venue itself is perfectly set within its own garden with plenty of free parking. Each room unique with their original features, fireplaces and spotlessly clean. The food by chef Marius. Delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can really taste his passion for food. The staff bent over backwards to fulfill our needs and Llywn country house will always be a special place to us”
“Excellent staff, so helpful with arranging a taxi/mini bus for our group. This is the second stay here, well done Mark and team, your customer service is excellent.”
“Booked in for a Sunday Roast Dinner yesterday. A last minute booking for our party of 5 Adults a child and a dog. Without a doubt the best decision we have made during our break in Swansea. The Lamb was sumptuous and by far the best we had tasted. Will be back for sure. Staff were good too”
“My daughter was married at this venue 2 weeks ago. Plus we stayed overnight. I can highly recommend the venue, food, all the rooms and staff were amazing! We all thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. If you are looking to book Bryngarw House, dont hesitate just do it!”
“What can I say about Newton Cottage that hasn't already been said, it is the best guesthouse/ B&B we have ever stayed in. Jane and Jonathan are the perfect hosts and are warm and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in the blue room and it was beautiful and comfortable and the extra touches in the room are amazing! The tea tray they supply in the room is just lovely and offers so much choice, the bathroom is stunning and they supply Moulton Brown toiletries which is a luxury touch. There are robes in the wardrobe and even a ironing board and iron supplied in the room. The continental breakfast is wonderful with lots of choices and you will not be disappointed. The building and the grounds are stunning and Jack the Corgi was such a character. We will definitely be staying here again in the future when we visit family and can't wait to come back.”
“The rooms very lovely and huge. It got two bedrooms with king size bed and two single beds and two shower rooms. It got TV, kitchen and everything. The nice part is if you cook something you don't need to wash utensils you can leave it which is awesome. I would like to visit again.”
“Nice find. Highly recommend as a base to explore the Gower. Staff are the best part about this hotel. Everyone we came into contact were lovely. Reasonably priced for accommodation and food. They made us a picnic to take out with us, menu filled out the night before, came in a cool bag with a picnic’s rug. We popped picnic into our rucksacks when we set off.”
“We recently had our works Christmas party here. Lovely venue that is very warm and welcoming. Staff were very polite and accommodating. Entertainment on the night was good and the food was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.”
“We regularly have Sunday Lunch in Leicester's restaurant at the Great House and it never fails to impress. The quality of local ingredients is extremely good and cooked to perfection. However last night we tried the A la Carte evening menu and once again we were not disappointed. Absolutely superb. All the staff are always friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend.”
“What a fabulous place to stay. Everything was perfect. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was spotless. Easy walk to the beach, shops and a good choice of restaurants. A short car ride will take you to other beautiful beaches. If you are looking for somewhere to stay this is the place. I'll definitely be going back.”
“We got married at the Towers Hotel last week and truly enjoyed every single moment. The bridal suite was spacious and perfect for getting ready, and the entire day ran seamlessly thanks to the team’s incredible organisation. My partner and I didn’t have to worry about a thing—everything was taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious and impressively quick, especially with around 70 guests to serve! Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional, and helpful. A special thank you to Cathryn, our wedding coordinator, who was so approachable, supportive, and on top of every detail. We loved every second of our day—thank you to everyone at the Towers Hotel for making it so special.”
“Comfortable bed in a large room with air conditioning if required. Very modern bathroom. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Parking good if you arrive early enough but otherwise ltd.”
