Nice small hotel, nice polite and friendly hotel. Huge room with a bath on the middle of it. Nice food at the restaurant and drinks. Very affordable. Only comment is that they were not willing to add lavabred to a vegetarian breakfast because the chef didn't want to (I was told with those words). Then another member of my family asked for the same, same answer, but once he said it's not a valid reason, then the chef did it, but not chance of doing mine? Weird. Nice place overall.

Quite off the beaten track and bit tricky to get to. Service was good, friendly and attentive. Room was nice with very sizeable bathroom. Not very well soundproofed as could hear taps/shower/water in adjoining room when trying to sleep. Massive blocks of slate for key fobs are ridiculous. Food pretty average.

Nice find. Highly recommend as a base to explore the Gower. Staff are the best part about this hotel. Everyone we came into contact were lovely. Reasonably priced for accommodation and food. They made us a picnic to take out with us, menu filled out the night before, came in a cool bag with a picnic’s rug. We popped picnic into our rucksacks when we set off.

We were unimpressed with breakfasts. The tea was tasteless; seemingly a cheap variety. The bread used for toast also seemed to be a cheap variety - on one morning the toast had mould on it. There was no marmalade all week and no attempt seemed to be made.to obtain any, although one guest requested honey, which was not on the menu, and he was provided with some the next day. The orange juice was also a cheap variety. One pat of butter was provided at breakfast and we had to ask for more each time. My wife was not having a cooked breakfast so toast and marmalade was what she expected. We are not used to petty meanness. In our room, Landimore, there was no toilet brush and the basin plug was a broken replacement - the plug hole was unclean with no protection against items falling into it. At breakfast time, dogs were allowed into the breakfast area which we deem to be most unhygienic. Clearly, this hotel’s standards are a lot lower than our standards.

The hotel was spotless, the Owner and all staff were the friendliest happiest bunch we have met at any hotel. New Years Eve 2 night package was a treat the food by Owners husband was upmarket and very good. Could not fault our stay and will definitely return.

Lovely location, wonderful setting, superb food and friendly service. We attended for a post-funeral meal and gathering. It was an ideal venue. Only constraint is parking, as it can get very busy at the front, though if you can negotiate the narrow drive there is plenty to the rear of the premises, and turning space too.

Attended the wedding of Lorraine and Geoff yesterday. It was absolutely fabulous. The afternoon tea was amazing and plenty of it, in fact we couldn’t finish it. The management and staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed the night in the Cheriton room which was lovely and clean with spacious bathroom. There is a kettle in the room for making teas and coffees. There was a menu with Plenty of choices for breakfast. I opted for the full English which was lovely, nice and hot. A big thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome. We will be back soon. I recommend this hotel.

Such a beautiful hotel in a stunning location, the bedroom was gorgeously furnished and well equipped. The food for both breakfast and dinner was amazing but I think what really makes this place special is the service from the staff, nothing was too much trouble, they are all very helpful, patient and served us with a smile - one older lady who served us breakfast was so kind and helpful she is a real credit to your team. The only comments I can make if you want to improve is for any disabled guests. Both my elderly parents stayed here too, we stayed in 2 of the lodges. When my mum called to make the booking she was advised there were a couple of steps to get into the lodge, a step to get into the walk in shower and she could drive up to the entrance of the lodge which all sounded manageable on the phone. On arrival we didn't see the disabled entrance through the conservatory so she struggled to get up the stairs to the main hotel entrance so maybe a sign would be helpful. We could indeed drive up next to the lodge and the couple of steps up were just about OK but perhaps having a rail there would of made it easier. Unfortunately the step getting through the door of the lodge is quite deep as well as the step into the shower so this made it very difficult to access the lodge and my mum couldn't have a shower, for abled body people this really isn't a problem but for a disabled guest it can be. I appreciate in order to make this better it would require building changes which may not be possible and these are only comments where you can improve if you want to appeal to disabled guests too. The hotel really is beautiful though and the staff were incredibly helpful and if I was just coming on my own then I really couldnt fault the place.

The Staff were truly superb, going well beyond the remit of their job. I was running late and they phoned me to check I was ok and to check me in before I arrived - and took a dinner order from me so as soon as I arrived dinner was ready for me! The hotel was lovely in a great quiet location, the bed was seriously comfortable and the sleep I had was as good as any I've had in years! The food was good but perhaps not quite good enough for the prices being asked. I was slightly surprised that breakfast was a charged extra. Otherwise everything was great. It's a lovely place and I would definitely stay here again.
