“Our two whippets have just spent four days at Hound Minded Sighthound Hotel and I can honestly say it was a fantastic experience (for the dogs and us!) We were really anxious beforehand about having to board them for the first time ever, but Jon and Minty's genuine care and dedication really shone through from the minute we dropped them off. They took time to understand the dogs needs and preferences and it was clear that they had lots of experience with sighthounds which immediately put our minds at ease. We received daily updates and photos which was a lovely touch and so reassuring for us. It was clear that the dogs weren't missing us one bit! They had regular, varied walks and it was so great to see how much they were enjoying their stay. Jon and Minty's commitment to keeping us informed really allowed us to enjoy our time away without worrying about the dogs too much at all. We couldn't be happier with the service provided. Our dogs were so happy during their stay and it was such a positive, stress-free experience. We can't recommend Hound Minded Sighhound Hotel any more highly to any sighthound owner looking for an exceptional, safe and caring environment for their dog. “A stone thrown away from the seafront, very quaint place. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!!! Stayed in the Kings Room. Suits couples. Very friendly lady greeted us and was so hospitable. Looking forward to returning here!”

“Our cats stayed here over Christmas for a few days while we went to visit family and I have no complaints at all. The lady who welcomed us, I think her name was Sue, was so helpful and friendly and really made me feel at ease leaving the cats there. They were clearly taken care of very well and I would not hesitate to leave them in the care of this cattery again. Faultless service and very easy to book.”

“Honestly it is no wonder why they have won the best wedding venue in South & Central Wales for three consecutive years. From reserving the date, to the day of the wedding (and the morning after!) they have been nothing short of professional, friendly, and exceptional. They have been flexible when our timings or food choices changed. From reception, to the wedding team, and the bar staff and everyone else at the King Arthur have been nothing short of perfection. Our wedding day flowed so seamlessly and smoothly it was like something out of a fairytale. Our wedding co-ordinator Annelise has been amazing throughout, and we were well looked after in her capable hands on the day, whether it be an extra drink for us or a moments peace away from the beautiful chaos. Nicola looked after us in the evening and was amazing, and a seamless transition. Justin the DJ was great and had the dance floor bouncing! The food for our wedding was exceptional, and highly recommended by ourselves and our guests. The venue is just stunning, and a treat to have our wedding there. We have eaten at the King Arthur many times before and have never been disappointed at the quality of the food. It was so nice to receive so many compliments about our wedding from so many different aspects of it, from the food, to the staff, to the venue and much more. If you want the wedding of your dreams, look no further than having it at the King Arthur hotel. “Location of this hotel is fantastic, right in the centre of everything I would need, and near the sea. Gorgeous room. The bathroom was very luxurious. There were lovely toiletries and I loved have nice thick towelling robes. The bed was huge and super comfortable. It was very easy to regulate the room temperature. There was a coffee machine, iron and hair dryer as well. Thick curtains were great for keeping the light out. The room was super clean, and the staff were absolutely amazing. Parking was quite easy. Overall the stay was wonderful.”

“The hotel was a last minute choice after travelling down from Liverpool for the Triumph Adventure Experience in the Brecon Beacons. My wife and I were both really taken with the friendly, helpful nature of the staff, the great value of the stay and the wonderful atmosphere of the pub. There's good local eateries and a good breakfast in the hotel; we had two fantastic evenings in the bar playing pool on the well maintained table. Loads of pluses, including the nearby attractions such as the National Garden of Wales, Swansea and The Mumbles, the Brecon Beacons but the lasting impression I'll keep was of the friendly welcome. Brilliant.”

“Had a great experience dealing with Digs for our final year flat. Denise was very friendly and approachable when we met to view the flat and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly when moving in. Any problems we had were dealt with as soon as possible with the maintenance staff sorting us out as fast as they could. Everyone in the office were very responsive and attentive when we had any problems - especially Lisa and Victoria. Everyone was very switched on and made sure that the house was well looked after during a stressful final year so it was nice we didn’t have to worry about any problems. The house was very clean when we moved in and in a great location close to campus. Definitely would recommend to any students looking for a student let in Swansea!”

“Lovely lunch today at the Dillwyn. Took my mother for the first time and she was very impressed. Fast and friendly service, clean surroundings, food came in a timely manner was homemade good quality and tasty. Big portions!! 6 hours later and I am still full! My son loved his dessert. The salad bar was a big plus for myself as I love fresh salad! Really nice selection. Thank you for a lovely time”

“My partner and I popped in for a impromptu Friday night dinner date and all I can say is that it was fantastic. On arrival we were greeted by the lovely mackenzie who was very attentive towards us and knew her role very well. Upon mentioning our allergies she promptly spoke to the kitchen and alternatives were made to accommodate us. I was very happy with the level of service that all the staff showed. Our second server Rees was also very attentive and quick with his service. We never wanted for anything and were always kept in good spirits. The food was perfect and I can't mark it down for anything. It's very rare that I give something top marks but it's well deserved. I will hope to be back soon with friends to enjoy an evening of good food and company.”

“Nice find. Highly recommend as a base to explore the Gower. Staff are the best part about this hotel. Everyone we came into contact were lovely. Reasonably priced for accommodation and food. They made us a picnic to take out with us, menu filled out the night before, came in a cool bag with a picnic’s rug. We popped picnic into our rucksacks when we set off.”
