Chintzy, small b and b. Had booked an ensuite, but two flights up for a shower. No lock on door just a latch. Felt very much like living in someone's house. Difficult political conversation from owner over breakfast. I kept trying to move on to more neutral territory but keen to discuss how things had become 'woke' and gender issues. Just my view but I would say avoid if from global majority or LGBTQ/Ally as you might feel uncomfortable.

Charming B&B that is comfortable in every way. Mel and Jules are engaging hosts who welcome you into their home and provide a first class service, including an outstanding Welsh breakfast. Our upstairs room had a comfortable bed and was well equipped. The location in Sketty requires either a car or use of taxis or buses. Views on the sea from outside the house show its convenient location for both the city and the Mumbles.

We spent two pleasant nights in Melanie and Julian's home, so, sadly, we only had two delicious breakfasts to get to know them and fill out the dossier. They were incredibly accommodating for bike storage and gave excellent advice on restaurants and activities and directions. Located conveniently across the street from the park. Full recommendation!

Our hosts were very friendly and interesting to talk to. We felt very welcome and they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The room was ideal for what we needed for our three nights stay. Highley recommended. Very nice cooked breakfast. Both room and facilities were very clean. Location was ideal for us, close to the University. Ideal for fantastic walks along the front 40 minutes walk into town. Longer walks to the Mumbles. Great eating around the area as its location is near student living and campus. Would not hesitate to return.

Mel and Justin were the perfect host's. Nothing was too much for them. They were very informative about the area, and gave us helpful advice. Our room was lovely, quiet and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. We would highly recommend staying there

We found this gem whilst looking for a place to stay for our daughters graduation. The hosts are welcoming and friendly. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and oh, so very comfortable and cosy, and the breakfast was excellent, if I could give this more than 5 stars I would!

The dozens of reviews I have read so far perfectly sum up this extraordinarily excellent B&B in a charming, quiet and easily accessible part of Swansea with views of the bay. However, the posters' hyperbole should not be underestimated: hosts Mel and Julien indeed offer the plushest bedrooms and facilities, the heartiest home-cooked breakfasts and the warmest welcome under the ozone layer. A charming couple with a fascinating back story who devote 100% commitment to making their guests feel thoroughly pampered and part of the family, this is a five-star-no-brainer-absolute-must-stay-never-want-to-leave B&B.
