We nipped into the pub for an early supper as we were off to a party. The food, and I will be honest was surprising good. I knew it would be difficult to get veggy food that was something decent but hell no. Mushroom stroganoff was banging. Really good, well done chefs. Hot, tasty and it looked alright on the plates. My partner had a beef pie, she was happy as. Keep it up. Chefs cooking real food not microwave rubbish. X

Rooms need updating and new mattresses and pillows need more than 1 plug would be handy by mirror to do hair . Little things like cups in the holders to put toothbrush in cups so can actually drink the coffee in room . Staff were really lovely and food beautiful

5 of us here for food. Started with a free salad bowl. All 5 meals were nice including a vegan one which was 'banging'. The wrap with chips was a huge meal, saying that all meals weren't tight with the portion. Will definitely visit again when down this way.

The meals are lovely, including a free salad bar with our meal. Plenty of food on the plate, very tasty and well presented. The service was great and the pudding was lush. Would go there again.

Lovely lunch today at the Dillwyn. Took my mother for the first time and she was very impressed. Fast and friendly service, clean surroundings, food came in a timely manner was homemade good quality and tasty. Big portions!! 6 hours later and I am still full! My son loved his dessert. The salad bar was a big plus for myself as I love fresh salad! Really nice selection. Thank you for a lovely time

Not stayed here as I live locally, the food is really nice here you can't go wrong. It's very reasonably priced and after you have eaten here you will come back. Staff were great very helpful and Mathew the owner always got time of day for you. Parking at the rear and very well situated in ponty.

We had the Sunday carvery. I would recommend...the meat was amazing and the service excellent. The restaurant was really popular as it was the week before Christmas so the tables were packed tightly together but the service was not affected by this and the food was served in an orderly fashion
