“The service provided by Happy Kitty Cat was brilliant. I has new kittens and I was very apprehensive about leaving them. Alisha seemed to love cats as much as I do and made be feel completely at ease. She arrived when planned and sent me photos daily do that I could see that my cats were indeed Happy Kitties! I have already booked Alisha for return visits.”

“This cat hotel was recommended by extremely fussy friends at a local cat rescue, so I had complete confidence that it would be good. The rooms are spacious and have lots of places to climb, hide and play. The rooms are immaculate and Domi cares so much, she is amazing and couldn’t do enough for our furries. I’ll never take them anywhere else. Totally addicted to the CCTV!”

“What a find! We were so relieved to find the lovely Helen and her spotless yet warm and comfy luxury cattery. Helen's extra loving care helped for a smooth transition after moving our 8 cats 300 miles from their home in Yorkshire to their their new home in Sussex. We can't rate Helen highly enough. Yes you will pay more money then your average cattery BUT this is not your average cattery, it's a hotel and is far superior. Helen offers a genuine home from home atmosphere and lavishes her attention on all her guests. We had complete peace of mind whilst we were away from our cats and hope to send to them to Helen again in the near future for a luxury holiday!”

“Lovely one night stay for my birthday. We ate at the Florence Arms gastro pub about 10 steps away which is also owned by Mercer. The hotel is gorgeous in a tiny little lane and has a great garden/conservatory restaurant and bar. Friendly efficient service and they arranged a beautiful cake from a local patisserie for my birthday for us. Also a very short 3 minute walk to the sea front. Thank you!”

Large, bright, clean, well equipped rooms and an excellent breakfast at a very reasonable price. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend”

I was welcomed by the General Manager and her team with coffee and freshly made cookies. Incredibly welcoming. The team looked after our wedding guests with care abd attention ensuring my couple had THE best day. Our service went perfectly with tge GM delivering sentimental items into the service for me to get the tone just right. Ice cream was served to all the guests whilst my couple signed thier certificate, and all in all they had the best day. Thank you for looking after me so very well, I hope to be back!”

“I've visited this hotel several times before and have never been dissapointed with the prompt check in (and out) although our room was unusually small this time. Breakfast was legendary as it always is here. Although we didnt eat here in the night the food being served looked delicious and I saw plenty of empty plates being taken back. Bar prices were surprisingly competitive with local bars. The parking token was also helpful saving me £8 on a 2 night stay.”

A great location for the historic dockyard and gunwharf quays, both within walking distance, so once we parked up in the lockable car park we walked everywhere. The bus and rail stations are directly opposite if needed.”
