   I haven't seen the rooms or experienced their services but I can say it's located in a very pretty area. I was tagging along my husband who had a meeting there. There's a quaint little conservatory perfect to sit and enjoy the melodious songs of birds outside. There's a small sitting area outside adjoining is a very pretty garden. If you're in a lovely, quiet town of Fareham, do visit this place and I'm sure you won't be disappointed, if you're a nature lover like me and like quiet beautiful places

   Arranging a wedding at comparatively short notice (weeks as opposed to months) owing more to availability of all parties rather than any other reason! Clive, the man on the spot, met us, discussed the needs of the bride and groom, sorted menus, decoration and other services that the hotel could offer. All went very well on the day, but the key part was the support and attitude of the staff, which was exceptional, worthy of Clive's leadership. The food was plentiful and good, the drinks flowed and we were given as much time as we needed. Never felt pressured to move on as I've witnessed before, but a lovely ambience, beautiful garden made even more so by a stunning day, not that they can influence that bit... Very happy with our choice of hotel and strongly recommend them.

   I can't speak for the rest of the hotel, but the ground floor double room for £144 we were given was very basic, tired looking and dark, with a view of a brick wall. The pillows were hard and the bathroom was quite shabby with an old shower curtain over the bath. I have since had a prompt reply from the hotel stating the ground floor rooms are due for refurbishment and that the 1st and 2nd floors have been updated. I was kindly given a refund for my stay, with the exception of the cost of the breakfast, which was very satisfactory.

   Lovely staff that were friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and bed comfortable. The only draw back is the bed creaked everytime you moved.

   We recently had our daughters Wedding Service, Wedding “Breakfast , & evening Reception at Lysses House Hotel. 5 out of 5 stars does not it justice. Happily give it 10 stars out of 5, and I never give full marks for anything. When you have paid literally thousands of pounds, you would expect something for your money. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Clive, James & the rest of the team, with a particular mention to James, who went above & beyond. Every single one of our guests commented how excellent the food, service, music & everything else was. Highly, highly recommended. You will not be disappointed.

   It's a nice enough hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Maybe slightly dated in the hallways but the rooms are alright. As a 6ft 2 guy, the single bed was maybe a bit short. But they had a nice breakfast and decent tea and coffee facilities in the room. The shower was nice. The rooms were kept fresh.

   23rd July 2022, wedding day event. Everything was catered for, the service was amazing and the food was unbelievable. Thank you for making our day special along side our guests. I would like to highly recommend this hotel and thank everyone for their time and effort.

   Absolutely fantastic, we held our wedding at the hotel and the staff were amazing. They went through everything with us in a polite and friendly manner and nothing was too much trouble if we had any queries. Lovely hotel, lovely grounds and lovely food . Would highly recommend them.
