“For an affordable and stress free stop on a long journey, this hotel is really all you need. We received a friendly welcome from Claude, the room was comfortable and clean, with nice Dove toiletries, and breakfast in the morning was tasty and included in the room rate. Parking was free and we didn't notice any motorway noise.”

“The room was clean and nice. The staff nice. Only stayed 1 night for business and it was ideal for that. Breakfast was nice. Unfortunately the Hunters Chicken that I ordered from the restaurant was so tough that a had to eat everything around it before I chiseled into it to avoid sending everything flying. Apart from that it was good. March 2023 update: I stayed for two nights this time on the 13/14, again for business. This time I made use of the swimming pool and the fitness suite on site. I also managed to try the sauna, the first time ever! I managed the whole 15 min on the timer. The food this time was really nice. I had a burger and steak (separate eve's). The team was very friendly and nice and the breakfast was excellent. I have notched up to 5 stars for this recent visit.”

“As always Hilton was fab. What really stood out about this location was the staff, don't get me wrong they're always lovely. We had our 2 yr old with us, when checking in the ladies at reception moved our room to the ground floor as lifts were being serviced when we came. So thoughtful, saved us a lot of trouble. They offered lego, crayons to colour with, and wordsearch for little one. Breakfast the team were attentive, again they saw little one and asked if we would like children cutlery and brought it out. Another staff member came over and let us know they could do waffles or pancakes for little one. We went with pancakes and he loved it! Same staff member (I'm cross with myself that I didn't get her name) when we getting ready to leave asked 'will we be seeing you for breakfast tomorrow?' We were just there for the night, she asked if we had plans for the day, my husband was taking our little one to a kids play whilst I had to go to work. Which she gave some solid recommendations on, glad she did because the place she'd said had been amazing. We were at Hilton in Bath earlier this year, this extra care from the staff didn't happen there. Again please don't misunderstand they had been lovely. But this level of care is what made my husband and I say we won't be bothering with any other hotel when we visit Northampton now. I know...long winded. But this family of 3 was very grateful and I truly wanted to convery that. Thank you!”

“Can't comment on the bedrooms as I didn't use them. The conference and events area however, is fantastic. It's really spacious and very clean. The rooms can be made up for any event. They are warm, welcoming and they can take away the business feel for more private events. The food and drinks provided are delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful.”

“Great location just off the main road, short run into town if needed! Very clean comfortable rooms, lovely staff and great restaurant opposite. Will be back soon and look forward to their refurbished rooms in time.”

“Many positives, especially Russell on reception who went out of his way numerous times to help us. Also to Michael the night porter who was very helpful. The disabled lift was not working and this should have been looked into quickly but wasn't. Although, I was able to access the bar and restaurant via the staff kitchen entrance luckily thanks to Russell and Co. Had to ask staff 3 times for a remote for the air-con. Russell was the one who resolved this, thankfully. I assume the other 2 staff forget. Hotel needs more disabled car spaces, 2 is not enough. Hotel located in a very nice quiet area of country. Breakfast was superb and all staff very helpful and friendly, although forgot one or two things. I'd stay again, which is a good sign!”

“Clean tidy. First time visitors and reception was friendly. Hall ways and room clean and tidy. Shower was immaculately clean. House keeping clearly take pride in the up keep of the hotel. I think this was the cleanest holiday inn I have stayed in. Well done to all the staff especially the house keeps for keeping such a big place clean and above all the other holiday inns I have visited.”

“Came here to attend Panto at the Durngate. location is very convenient for town centre. Rooms pleasant although outlook at back a bit depressing. Nice big Telly, Really Comfy Beds, Close to Lift. Felt homely. Breakfast was good with a varied selection of cooked and continental. As always I preder Fried Eggs but only sctambled available. Mushrooms and Tomatoes very tasty. Even had Pancakes and Maple Syrup but these should be kept warmed. All in all, a very nice stay and good value”

“I had a great stay at the Northampton Bedford Road Premier Inn on the A428. The receptionist team was incredibly welcoming and made check-in smooth and friendly. A special mention to Fridah, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. Overall, excellent service from start to finish. Thank you! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.”

“We stayed here for around a month between house moves. All of the receptionists we encountered were super helpful. We even went back after five weeks to enquire about a lost item and they produced it immediately from their lost property box. Really super people.”

“Surprisingly fantastic. Had a room on the top floor and the room itself was much bigger than I was expecting. Only two plus in the whole room, but I just unplugged the kettle so I could plug in both my phone and laptop chargers. Very clean, plenty of pillows and towels, all the basics and bare essentials covered. Very happy!”

“Fabulous for the money! Family room for 4 people for two nights, £112, works out at £14 PP per night. Rooms were clean, nice towels, fresh clean bedding, comfy beds, shower and a bath. I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay again. Check out time was 12 noon most places are 10/ 11 am. Free parking!”

“Great relaxed night with live music. Food was available. The setting is a traditional pub with garden. The atmosphere is relaxed, drinks and food were very reasonably priced ..the music was exceptional.. I can't wait to revisit this place”

“We've being bringing our cat here for a couple of years now. We love the professionalism of the owners; vet records must be up to date and seen, keeps all our cats safe. The units are big, spotless clean and have toys/boxes to play with. Opening times are good - morning and evening very helpful. Sarah & Rupert are very helpful, super friendly and committed to the cats in thier care. We love seeing our cat on Social Media posts too!”

“Ecton house is absolutely stunning,in a perfect location. The house and gardens are amazing with the added bonus of a hot tub. I had the best weekend there with my girl friends and would definitely recommend staying here. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly and I will definitely be back”

“A fantastic stay at Homefield Grange. The staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive. The spa facilities are immaculate and truly luxurious. The therapists are skilled and professional. Great classes and early morning walks. My room was beautifully decorated with a great shower and a very comfy bed! The food was healthy, fresh, and beautifully presented and the two chefs are fantastic - really enjoyed the demonstrations which were so informative and inspiring. I came here to hopefully lose some weight but it has been so much more than that, I left feeling relaxed and refreshed - a real re-set. Highly recommended!”

“Enjoyed my short stay very much at the Poplars. Very quaint character property that retains much of its charm. Upper rooms would be tricky for anyone with limited mobility or lots of large luggage. Cooked breakfast was excellent, plenty of everything available. Room nice & clean and bed comfortable. Shower rather small so again tricky for anyone with limited mobility so would be good to check which room you are booking if that is your circumstance. They do have accesible rooms on the ground floor.”

“Absolutely lovely pub, a real gem! Perfect spot for a dog walk stop-off or a cosy date night. The food is exceptional- the Sunday roast was honestly the best I’ve ever had! The staff are so friendly and really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Can’t wait to go back!!”

“We had a lovely afternoon tea and I was really impressed from the minute I walked in. We received a fabulous greeting as though they'd known us for years and the service from that moment on was absolutely brilliant. The food was delicious and we were offered more sandwiches and top ups on the drinks throughout our visit. The whole area was decorated beautifully and the atmosphere was so friendly and fun. I can't recommend this enough and thank you for a lovely time.”

“We placed our order on Thursday night for the Takeaway Menu, great communication with Hannah throughout and collected our meal tonight (Saturday) I was greeted with a warm welcome from Dominic, a great first impression. Our food was very tasty and full of flavour with nice size portions for Starters and Main, we look forward to returning very soon.”

“We got married at Kilworth House in October. The staff were absolutely amazing, Caroline was so helpful from start to finish and we felt so well looked after. We were able to put all of our trust into the staff at Kilworth, and our wedding day was beyond perfect. The food was amazing and everyone commented on how much they loved the rooms and enjoyed their stay.
