   My mother in law has her epilepsy support dog with her so when she got into the room she put a water bowl from the bathroom tap on the floor and a couple seconds later hes sick from the water so what does that say about the cleanliness of the water? Furthermore whilst im on the subject of hotel cleanliness, the bed sheets on the bed are disgusting with weird stains all over them. Absolutely gross. We will not be staying there again and to all the owners of dogs reading this, be cautious and maybe bring your fury friends some bottled water instead. Not impressed

   Surprisingly fantastic. Had a room on the top floor and the room itself was much bigger than I was expecting. Only two plus in the whole room, but I just unplugged the kettle so I could plug in both my phone and laptop chargers. Very clean, plenty of pillows and towels, all the basics and bare essentials covered. Very happy!

   I booked a 3 night stay at this hotel and got the shock of my life. My hotel room was so stuffy, linens looked used and had visible dirt. Additionally the room beside the room (5) I was assigned had someone smoking in there. I complained to the staff who said she was a lone worker and she can't do anything to help me. I suggested a room swap but I was told they were fully booked. I tried to ring customer care but unfortunately they closed at 22:30. A second staff came on- Jacey and made matter worse. She had no empathy and lacked customer care approach. I paid for 3 nights and couldn't get to spend even 1 night because I would get sick from spending the night there. This was the worst experience I have ever had.

   I had a great stay at this hostel! The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The common area had a nice atmosphere where it was easy to meet other travelers. The location is perfect — close to public transport, restaurants, and main attractions.I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back!

   I understand for a budget hotel expectations cannot be high but it seems this place is cheap because they compromise on cleanliness. The pillows I had were heavily stained with goodness knows what, and no pillow protectors. The plastic panels in the shower do not get cleaned. Grime marks all down them. No shower gel at all. Cheap quality toilet roll. Smear marks all over the wall, didn't want to even put too much thought into what it could be. No hairdryer available in the room. This may be available by going down to reception but I didn't want to go all the way down and ask. No phone in room to call down. Free WiFi only for 30 minutes. Central location in the town was good but does mean it is noisy at times. They would have to pay me to return. Disappointed.

   AVOID AVOID AVOID! This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I was meant to stay for 2 nights however I just barely made one night and had to drive 2 hours to go home and lose the money I paid for the 2nd night. The bathroom was filthy, blood clots in the sink, blocked toilet, air con on constantly and they couldn't turn it off and offered me a little heater to counteract the air con, I could go on. I've come away ill and feeling very dirty. This place needs to be shut down and not fit to run as a hotel the way it is. I know the room I stayed in wasn't the only bad room as my friend stayed and he left after only 1 night loosing his money too. The customer service was shocking and seemed they were used to complaints. It was just a shocking experience that I don't want to experience that ever again

   Check in was at 3pm the receptionist didn't come down until 3.45pm by which time there was a rather large queue of people waiting. the receptionist didn't seem to care at all about the lateness. You'd think that if you know everyone will arrive at 3pm you'd be at your post. The room was clean enough but the aerial cable for the TV was broken. When asking at reception there was little to no effort in finding a replacement or solution for this. I would not stay here again

   They deep cleaned our room during our stay which definitely helped with the comfort. Simple and effective as another reviewer said - great value, location, and friendly staff. No major issues.

   We stay at travel lodges pretty much everywhere and there usually really good. This one however has been the worst. The hotel looks dated the room looked distinctly average upon arrival but we didn't really look around when we got there we just dropped our bags and left. Its not till the morning we realised how bad it was, mould round the window, dirty net curtains and the bathroom mainly shower was disgusting. There was no way that was cleaned. There were several eyelashes on the shower wall, a long curled up hair on the ceiling and on the shower head. The TV control has clearly never beed cleaned so was horrid. And the bed had an irritating squeak at the slightest of movement so an awful nights sleep had. I would have complained when we left but every time we went paat the reception there was no one there.

   One star for friendly staff. No stars for the dirty room with a revolting sock over the fire sensor. Mould in the shower and a thick layer of dust over the loo roll holder. This was booked for us by a third party and we were ripped off at a penny off £100 a night. First thing I did on returning home was put all my clothes in the wash and have a good shower in the likelihood of bed bugs. UGH! Hope never to return.
