Everything you need is in the room, the room is clean, it's quiet outside, and the reception staff is friendly. For a small fee, I was able to check in early. The only issue was that the room looked completely different from the one shown in the photos when I made the booking and the WiFi connection is weak

Very disappointed, doesn't have anything to do with the pictures online. I only give 2 stars because of Tracy she was very helpful and nice, the rooms have very weird smell and very difficult to open. The shower was so small and so difficult to adjust to the right temperature. Windows were so dirty and hard to open. The smell it was just like mold everywhere.

This place is a dump! But it's a clean dump! Rooms have a funky smell, keys difficult to open doors, bathroom is a cupboard and visiting during a heatwave the temperature is stifling before you've turned the shower on! No air con, windows hardly open on top floor. The surface of the sun would be cooler! Staff very friendly, and bar has some air con, very reasonable prices for drinks. Can't comment on breakfast didn't have any.

This is a what I would call a fairly basic hotel, it was very clean & quite comfortable & had everything we needed for our over night stay. There is a but which is huge for me the receptionist, Lisa who made our stay 5 star. She was absolutely lovely & so helpful. I asked for help with the fan in our room which didn't seem to work & she replaced it immediately, carrying it to our room. I was made to feel very special by Lisa as she helped in so many little ways, nothing was too much trouble. What a breathe of fresh air & super to find there are still people who go that extra mile for others. Lisa deserves a raise.

Lovely little hotel, perfect for a stop off. We booked this hotel as a stopping point while driving down the country and it seemed a good point to be at, I’m glad we did choose this hotel as it was perfect positioning conveniently right next to the road but it was far enough away that we couldnt hear any traffic. There’s a fuel station and Indian restaurant on the same complex too so again very good position for them all. The lady on reception was very lovely and gave us plenty of recommendations for things to do while we were in the area and also places to eat, we did go the ‘Crocodile Zoo’ after her recommendation and it was great! There was an incident which had happened prior to us arriving where ambulance and police were involved but this didn’t hinder our stay and the hotel were very professional about it apologising for any inconveniences. The hotel was clean enough and looked after, our room was a good size with a nice big comfy bed. Bathroom toiletries and coffee making station were stocked and perfectly fine, everything worked in the bathroom and room electrics wise. The shower was a little underwhelming, no pressure and not very hot but it worked which is fine to me. Not a lot of plug sockets in the room, there’s none at either side of the bed or underneath the TV. The bar is open till 11pm and is very well priced for the area, there’s a games room which is open to all residents too with pool and sofas in there. We did have breakfast here too and it was nice and simple cereal, toast and pastries.

Hotel is off the beaten track. Still near the motorway. Its not luxury but it's a place to lay your head for a rest. I can't lie I have stayed in 5 star hotels and the beds have not been as comfortable as this hotel. I didn't hear the motorway at all. I woke up feeling rested. The price was nice as well. In the price came a breakfast. They don't do hot food, but that's not the end of the world as you can still get something to eat and go on with your travels. The room was very spacious. I feel they could do with updating the room. Maybe a bigger TV on the wall, fresh coat of paint on the walls. Even though the bed was comfortable, maybe getting a new bed and furniture that is modern. Needs a few more plugs in the room. The bathroom definitely needs updating fresh coat of pain & a new shower curtain with a bigger shower cubicle & fix the toilet handle. My only negative is that I could hear the people talking in the morning which means that they could hear me, oh dear, lol. Yes I probably could of stayed somewhere better... but u know what? I had a great time. I would stay again. I had so much fun. The staff was very polite and helpful. Just update the room, and it will be much better.

Very good value for money - rooms are clean and fairly spacious. Bed is so comfy! Big free car park and free breakfast (basic but nice). I wish showers were better - low pressure and shower head fixed to the wall. I would still stay there again as I like it.

Great value lodgings just off the great north road. 24 hour reception, small bar on site and plenty of parking. We stopped overnight here on our way to Scotland, it cost less than £40. Friendly helpful staff and whist the place is quite dated , it was very clean. Useful to have a reasonably priced petrol station adjacent. The rooms were functional, a decent size, but starting to look like they need refurbishment, but it was immaculately clean, had plenty of tea and coffee, good WiFi, a decent telly etc. Plenty of hot water and a comfortable bed. You really can't argue with the value of this place and it's definitely one I would use again. The Indian buffet restaurant next door is also worth a visit for a tasty good value curry.

Staff are very nice and friendly, the rooms are very outdated but clean. It's a proper budget hotel and you get what you pay for. Fine for what I needed and I would stay again .

I wasn't expecting much when I first checked into this hotel, it looks a little bit run down from the outside but I've seen much worse. The reception staff were friendly and they were more than happy to help me with any questions regarding the bar or the surrounding area. The rooms could do with an update they look very old and tired but for what you pay for the rooms, you can't complain too much. It was nice to have a warm hotel room and a working fan for once. Compared to a days inn this place is a 5 star spot.
