Perfectly adequate for a one night stay in the town centre. We stayed over a bank holiday night so parking was free in the nearby surface car park, but parking would have been very expensive otherwise. The room was clean, quiet and adequately equipped.
Clean But quite possibly the worst bed iv ever slept on the pillow was non existent. Iv never been so high up in a bed yet felt so low. Tv also didn’t work properly. Good location Friendly staff Clean Cheap and cheerful it’s 2 star hotel it could be worse.
Came here to attend Panto at the Durngate. location is very convenient for town centre. Rooms pleasant although outlook at back a bit depressing. Nice big Telly, Really Comfy Beds, Close to Lift. Felt homely. Breakfast was good with a varied selection of cooked and continental. As always I preder Fried Eggs but only sctambled available. Mushrooms and Tomatoes very tasty. Even had Pancakes and Maple Syrup but these should be kept warmed. All in all, a very nice stay and good value
Staff are lovely and helpful, rooms are nice and clean. Tea and coffee sachets provided with shower and hair wash. Staying here during the weekdays might be ok but I am currently writing this at 4am on a Saturday... went to sleep at around 11pm and woke up at 3am and cant fall back to sleep because of the roaring music thumping away across the street from a club. Guessing this goes on until 6am, wish me luck and good luck to you if you're a light sleeper. Other than that, nice clean and pleasant place to stay.
was just a short walk from Northampton Station, and the hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city. We stayed here for two nights. As a basic hotel, Ibis Budget meets the expected standards. The room was clean, budget-friendly, and offered great value for money. We booked a room on the top floor, which was quiet and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful as well.
Lovely place, polite staff. Well located with all takeaways and shops easily accessed. Apart from people running in the corridors and startling you. Or hearing people talk to each other from one side of the corridor to the other side, I would recommend this place for sleep overs.
You know what you get with an Ibis and this one is no different. Although nothing fancy the rooms are really fit for purpose, being clean and comfortable. The location of this Ibis is perfect as conveniently sat between the town centre and the train station. There are lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel itself is also located right next to the Sol Central building - housing a cinema and a restaurant. If staying in Northampton you could pay a lot more and not get a better location or service.
I work for International Recruitment for my Trust and doing so requires me to provide support for the International Nurses that come over. Yesterday, I accompanied 2 of our nurses to take their OSCE exams, and from the moment of checking in, service was exemplary! The receptionist was kind and friendly, and she made us feel at ease - more importantly the girls! From the get go she was on it, giving them a pep talk and provided us with detailed instructions of our stay. She even made sure we had rooms next to each other, and that they were situated at a quiet part of the hotel. Absolutely lovely nights sleep from the girls and I! The rooms allocated to us were spacious and kept very neat. Shower room was a large size and the bedrooms had all the basic neccessities we could need - kettle, hair dryer, desk fan. Breakfast was served from 0630, and although the choices were limited, there was a fair selection of things to suit the palate of the diners. Overall still a good breakfast! Absolutely lovely stay! Looking forward to seeing you guys again! PS - Your receptionist was fab!
Stayed here for work for 5 nights and the hotel is clean and accommodating with a really nice breakfast selection, not the typical uncooked stringy bacon and raw eggs type - even had three types of breakfast sausage! I’m quite young and don’t normally write reviews unless if i’m really happy with the service. I genuinely think the customer service here is some of the best i’ve ever received - special mention to two of the evening staff (a young lady who was ginger with glasses and young man with glasses too and a small cheek/face tattoo), honestly deserve a raise..helped me out and were so lovely each and every day when i’d come back exhausted from 10 hour shifts. Thank you
The room comfortable,clean and bathroom very nice.. however the highlight of our stay was the amazing breakfast and staff. The staff we came across during our stay were all so friendly, helpful and upbeat! Would recommend fully!
