The price of the room was very good. I loved the reception including environment. It is close to the train station, which is great. And, I can’t stop thinking of the bed, I slept so well.

Placed here by WN council emergency housing room7 how has this place pass safety insp fire door to the room has a big gap round it and you can see the light from hall way with door locked. Smoke alarm hanging out .big gap in small bathroom window at the top when closed. Microwave corroded inside. Not even a mini fridge to keep milk fresh. Gave up trying to use the shower as it was a squeeze fitting through the gap of the doors & once in no room to bend down to wash lower half im 6ft2 22st. Got accused of having a female guest in my room when it was room 6 was the one even though the place has cctv all over it management still got it wrong the guest (a sex worker)would come knocking loudly at different times over several days before the code was changed on the main door 11pm 2am 5am 7am banging & shouting Billy¡¡ these are just some of the things I have experience being their for 13 months without complaining till now

+ The proprietor was very friendly when I arrived and I didn't get there till late, maybe 10:45pm. I had no issues with road noise as other people have mentioned, the windows were double glazed and kept most of the noise out even though I was facing towards the road. The bed was comfy. - The bathroom looked rough, functioned fine but really could do with a little bit of tlc. The hot water took a while to come through on the shower but got there in the end. The main thing is the window in the room into the hall (as shown in my images), a feature of a bygone era. I think the owners should block this off with anything or paint over it as the light in the hall is motion sensor activated and came on a few times when I was trying to get to sleep. Overall, fine if you're there for just a night like I was.

I stayed overnight as I was traveling for an exam in Northampton the next day. *The room was freezing cold & the heat was poor/ almost non-existing in the middle of December (both in the bedroom & the bathroom)!! I couldn't sleep at night as my feet were ice-cold + there was a non-stop loud noise in the middle of the night by males (I couldn't discern whether inside or just outside the place). *The room in which I stayed may need some serious renovation & the stained carpet could do with a little cleaning. Pros: The hotel is in proximity to the exam centre. & there was a nearby restaurant (thank God).

having stayed here i believe for the 7th or 8th time now it’s always so lovely to come back here, the owner his family and his staff are all such lovely people, where it’s located is perfect for me and is another reason why i keep coming back with a private car park and all the amenities you need as well as customer wifi as well very clean i love coming here and will continue to do so, thank you Mr Butt for the hospitality!!

It exceeded my expectations I wasn't sure what to expect after seeing it on Google maps and reading the reviews. We pulled up into a secure parking area and went up some stairs to a lovely seating area to greet us and on seeing we had a less mobile member promptly gave her a lower floor room. He was very helpful. Our rooms were clean but needed a bit of tlc but the bed was clean and very comfy. It's handy for the town centre and I would go back
