My only issue was where they put the "fresh" towels. Other travelodges they put them folded on the bed. Find that here they're already on the towel rail or on the foot of the dresser. Not a nice way to find "fresh" towels. How can I be sure they're actually "fresh"?
Fantastic location. Really close to town and excellent road links just minutes away. Clean and comfortable hotel with really friendly, helpful staff. Very quiet rooms deßpite being near toain route into Northampton. Toby Carvery right next door. Great food and drink 24 hour service station 50 yards away for the essentials. Food deliveries welcomed and held by staff.
We use this TL regularly. The rooms are always fine and it's central location to major road links is ideal. The food outlet next door is ok, but we prefer to use The Yeoman of England just a couple of minutes away.
not far from m1 and really really central for what we needed without a massive high cost. attending silverstone for car event. 22 mins away and save about 200 quid on hotel. service a bit iffy had to keep explaining why you needing item such as towels and tea and coffee left our tea/coffee box outside but didn't need the room done so tea/coffee remove and not replaced. ask at reception and just said to leave the hanger so they can get into the room explain i didn't need the room done just extra milk and team told to come back as she hadn't made up the tea item yet (no offence but I only need 1 so surely wouldn't have taken long). return after dinner no one on desk and call the number and no one answer. a bit of disappointment Toby carvery attached which was handy for meal or sitting the beer room was ok - wardope was really dusty but rest of room clean
We stayed here for around a month between house moves. All of the receptionists we encountered were super helpful. We even went back after five weeks to enquire about a lost item and they produced it immediately from their lost property box. Really super people.
Rooms seem to all have single beds in even if you request a double. Have to put them next to each other. Nobody hardly on reception. Vending machine seems to be broke all the time. So only refreshments are the carvery(which we got told to book) up til 10pm. There is a local garage not to far of a walk that's 24hrs tho. Reception always smells like urine. Rooms clean but small and shower is old and needs updating. When had a shower the steam was everywhere once settled so made the floor and surfaces, even the toilet wet. Comfy bed tho.
Very very dirty, smelt of pot. Came down from Scotland a few months ago in the summer and stayed here. Never again!! Rude staff didn’t seem to want to be at work. One nice middle aged blonde woman who was interested in where I was from ect ( kat I think). Food next door was ok. Northampton was a nice place. Just won’t stay there again. Sorry I put a low review but I can not lie.
We stayed 2 nights and couldn’t fault it for the price. Beds were comfortable and room was warm. We asked for extra milk and coffee to take to the room and the staff were very obliging. We ate nextdoor ant the carvery there was fine.
Went and stayed there for a weekend. Not the cleanest place but for the price you pay its ok. Everything was running smooth. Towards the end Sunday morning the staff 3 times kept coming and knocking on our door saying to keep it down. We like we are only talking. They kept threatening us with eviction power tripping us even though we both kept saying we are talking. Very rude staff. As you can see the condition of the hotel in the pictures i uploaded and ontop of that the cheeks of the hotel staff are so rude. I have stayed at several travelodges by far the worse one
Expected more for what I paid (£75 for one night). Shower bracket was broken and bed was really squeaky. But to be fair the rest of the room was perfectly clean and functional, and part of the price was probably because I booked only two days before. Service was friendly and location is pretty convenient for getting to Santa Pod, with a Shell petrol station just next door.
