“A nice close but not too far hotel from Santa Pod Raceway. I thought it was very reasonable for the price paid. It had a decent shower, that got plenty hot for my liking, and the bed was plenty comfy as well. If I was being extremely picky, they are on the smaller side if 2 of you are in the same room. But it is rather cosy!”

And would you believe it, I had my folding bike with me, quite the conundrum at most places, but not for Gayle. She whisked it away and secured it without so much as a second thought. “We stayed at the Aviator in August and loved just about everything about it. We received a very nice welcome and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious, well appointed and comfortable. It was also quiet. The art deco fittings and decor thought the hotel are beautiful and very well preserved. Food was very good. The wine was very reasonably priced and the two locally brewed beers were dangerously moreish! Set beside a not too busy flying club the grass area outside of the hotel was an ideal spot for a pre dinner drink. This hotel is great value for money and well worth a visit.”

“Stayed here one night while on business in the area. Room was fantastic bed was very comfy and the shower was brilliant. Check was excellent the lady there was very helpful. Car park is very small and if you’re not careful you will get blocked in, just bear it in mind. Can imagine it gets rowdy at the weekend as it bang in the centre, but mid week was fine and I slept well.”
