“With a P Inn you always know what you get. We were a little disappointed that they didn't have any P Plus rooms. But in the nes it was fine. Room smelt a bit damp when we arrived. But cleared after an hour. The breakfast team were one of the best I habe seen at a P Inn. Super friendly, helpful and efficient. We didn't have a car so cant comment on parking. Location was very central. Easy access to everything. Easy to get Uber taxis.”

“From day one this hotel was just perfect! The location is spot on – right next to the Derbion with fantastic transport links, making it really convenient. The cleanliness throughout the hotel is impeccable, everything feels fresh and well looked after. The staff here are absolutely brilliant – friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The restaurant is top notch nosh, with great food and service to match. A special shout out has to go to both Pat and George for their incredible customer service. They were lovely, chatty, friendly, and nothing was ever too much to ask. They’re a true credit to the team and made my stay extra enjoyable. Can’t recommend this Premier Inn highly enough – I’ll definitely be back!”

“Stayed here for my time in Etwall and you couldn’t pick a better spot. The location is fantastic and the room itself was nicely decorated and well maintained. This is all second to the first rate service and the friendliest of staff, who were extremely helpful during my visit. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in lovely Etwall.”

Rooms and very clean and homely also the service is brilliant honestly it is next to nothing the staff can’t do enough for you also if you come across a snag they will help you. “Stayed here for going to a gig in town, clean and comfortable, a short walk or taxi ride to the centre of Derby... staff are lovely, plenty of free parking and a buffet breakfast for £10.75... the scrambled eggs were really good, a good choice of hot and cold food plus there's a bar and the restaurant serves other dishes all day.”

“We had an wonderful stay. The rooms were nice and clean and made up in time for our early check in. Emma was very attentive and very friendly made us feel very welcomed and really appreciate all the help she provided. There was a lot of us and she went out her way to make our stay wonderful! “Absolutely amazing service , we needed a hotel for the night last minute due to a awful expereince at our accomodation in Nottingham. We turned up late to reception and the guy went out of his way to get us a room suitable for 3 adults. Nothing was too much trouble and we got a fairly good night's sleep. Staff were amazing , so thank you for coming to our rescue after a awful experience elsewhere”

“A nice hotel in the centre of Derby. Rooms were comfortable, especially the executive ones. The buffet breakfast was tasty and the choice was good. The best thing about this hotel was the staff. Every one of them were helpful, supportive and went about their jobs with a smile. On check in we had an issue with the allocated room and they swapped it with no fuss or bother. Fantastic service from start to finish. Thank you for a great stay.”

“We had such a wonderful stay! Merrick was absolutely incredible. She arranged a late check-out (a true lifesaver after a wedding celebration!), gave us great advice on parking and taxis, and even shared tips about Derby so we could make the most of our time. She really went above and beyond to make sure us two fellow Scots felt at home. The rest of the team were also fantastic. So friendly, approachable, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The hotel itself is in a brilliant location, within walking distance of lots of pubs, shops, and the city centre. The rooms were spacious, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy and the shower pressure was perfect! I would not hesitate to stay here again and would absolutely recommend it to friends. Merrick is a true gem and an excellent credit to the Leonardo team.”

“We were very surprised to see the hotel after seeing a 7.5 star rating! It's absolutely gorgeous, proper high end, but the prices don't reflect that. At £75 for a room with two breakfasts was ridiculously cheap for what we got. The hotel was magnificent, the room large, comfortable, well equipped and clean. Breakfast was tasty, hot and well cooked. We paid an awful lot more for much less. We'll be staying again”

“We felt really looked after our entire stay, Lauren and marija are a real credit to the team making our stay so pleasant. The beds were really comfy and the room was clean and warm. The breakfast was very nice and even with free coffee in the mornings, paired with exceptional service from Michael and Saskia each morning. The city is within walking distance which is really handy for people who may want to do shopping .Shall definitely be returning .”

“My stay was absolutely lovely from start to finish. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was truly excellent throughout my visit. ​The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and more than enough for 2 adults and 2 children to share. However, the real highlight of my trip was the spa. It was a truly amazing experience. I had initially booked a massage but was delighted to take advantage of a 40% off offer to add a facial. The spa staff were very accommodating with this last-minute change. ​My therapist, Hannah, was fantastic. From the back massage to the facial, she was an absolute professional. I felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated by the end of my treatments. I would highly recommend the spa and Hannah in particular!”

“Stayed here for one night in late November in one of their cosy Wildhives, it is a lovely escape. The room was beautifully rustic and comfortable, a touch chilly on a crisp Derbyshire evening, but the blankets were plush and it added to that authentic outdoor vibe. Location is a total winner: 5 minutes’ walk to the Ashbourne end of the Tissington Trail. We strolled up to Tissington village. Next time we’ll definitely hire one of their bikes or e-bikes (they have plenty available on site) and ride the full 13-mile trail. The food… I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s some of the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Dinner was outstanding: perfectly seared scallops to start, followed by calf’s liver cooked pink and silky with incredible depth of flavour, finished with a cracking local cheeseboard and a glass of port by the fire. Breakfast the next morning was just as good – proper quality ingredients, everything cooked spot-on. And the cherry on top: we booked a 60-minute massage in the little spa on Sunday morning before checkout. Absolute bliss. My therapist was brilliant, worked out every knot after knot, and we both floated out completely relaxed. The perfect full-stop to the stay. Peaceful, beautiful, friendly staff, incredible food and that spa treatment sent us home properly recharged. If you’re anywhere near the Peak District, do yourself a favour and book Wildhive. You won’t regret it.”

“Amazing 3 course Sunday lunch today. The roast beef was cooked to perfection. Staff were lovely and very accomodating (I am gluten free). Views of the beautiful gardens were great. Have been here many times for Sunday lunch and it is always perfect.”

“Had my wedding here on 31.10.25. I could not have asked for anything more, from the whole set up meeting process and the team on the day/ night. They were so nice. The food was amazing, service even more so. Anything you needed/ was unsure of they were there to help the whole time. I couldn't have asked for a better place and vibe for the whole day. Some clumsy people dropped things and there were already on the way as we went to get them for clean ups. Not a single thing I can fault. These people and this venue is amazing!”
