“My recent dining experience at Donington Manor Hotel was a delightful journey of flavours and ambiance. After the complimentary snacks and amuse bouche I started my culinary adventure, with the crab starter. The presentation was a work of art, a testament to the chef's attention to detail. The dish featured a delicate crab accompanied by a zesty tomato essence dressing, which provided a refreshing burst of flavour. The freshness of the crab was undeniable, and the combination of textures, including crispy greens and kohlrabi, made for a well-balanced and satisfying starter. It left me eagerly anticipating what was to come. For my main course, I chose the lamb dish. I was pleased to find that the rump was cooked to perfection, tender and succulent with a beautiful pink centre, whilst the slow cooked lamb shoulder bonbon just melted in your mouth. It was accompanied by a delectable earthy yet creamy courgette puree whilst the pepper puree completed the flavour profile of the dish. The portion size was generous without being overwhelming, and the presentation was once again impeccable. The service throughout the meal was impeccable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering wine pairings and answering any questions I had. The pace of the meal was just right, allowing me to savour each course without feeling rushed. Donington Manor Hotel's restaurant exceeded my expectations with its combination of exceptional cuisine and a charming ambiance. I highly recommend giving it a try. I left the restaurant with a satisfied palate and a desire to return to explore more of their offerings.”

“Meow hotel is fantastic, our cats Eric and Elmo really seem to enjoy it there. Like the regular update via Facebook with photos and videos of the boys. Staff are amazing and really friendly. Reasonably priced as well. Wouldn’t take out boys anywhere else.”

“I have just collected my little sausage dog from his 3rd stay at Oaksedge farm. Its a truly lovely place where I know he is looked after very well.. I'm very protective over Lincoln and he's never stayed with anyone apart from family. However, I instantly got a good feeling when I looked around the farm and could tell that animals come first!! I would never take Lincoln anywhere else. Thank you to everyone who looked after Lincoln xx!”

“Basic bed and breakfast. Clean and tidy. Friendly lady running it. She does a great job of making sure everyone has a nice breakfast, with a smile on her face! Has vegan options for breakfast. I brought my own milk and butter though as I suspected there wouldn't be any. Would be really great if plant milk was in rooms, for vegans and a plant butter at breakfast time. But aside from this small thing it was a great stay.”

“With a P Inn you always know what you get. We were a little disappointed that they didn't have any P Plus rooms. But in the nes it was fine. Room smelt a bit damp when we arrived. But cleared after an hour. The breakfast team were one of the best I habe seen at a P Inn. Super friendly, helpful and efficient. We didn't have a car so cant comment on parking. Location was very central. Easy access to everything. Easy to get Uber taxis.”

“A fabulous hotel with two golf courses. There is an imposing entrance as you approach Breadsall Priory. The main hotel is surrounded by the Priory golf course. It's a testing, undulating course in a mature parkland setting, which was in excellent condition. We couldn't play the Moorlands course due to heavy overnight rain, which closed both courses on our second day. The hotel was impressive too, although it's a bit of a maze finding your room. You can get to your room without leaving the building, but the rooms are an extension of the original building, so there are lots of twists & turns & up & down stairs. My only gripe with the room was the bathroom. After having a shower, there was a pool of water by the side of the bath as the showerscreen didn't seal against it. When I mentioned it to members of our group, they'd had the same problem. Everyone commented on how good the food was. The restaurant was big enough to give everyone space without drowning out people who wanted a quiet evening. Breakfast was a buffet style with coffee & tea machines. Staff were friendly & helpful. There is also a swimming pool & spa facilities.”

“Only a one night stay . Staff extremely friendly and welcoming , nothing too much trouble . The pizzas were spot on , really enjoyed them . Continental breakfast more than enough would definitely recommend for a stay , ideally located to the town centre and other activities. Only slight fault , room needed a little bit of tlc but nothing major and certainly didn’t spoil our enjoyment. Would stay here again when we return to belper .”

“From day one this hotel was just perfect! The location is spot on – right next to the Derbion with fantastic transport links, making it really convenient. The cleanliness throughout the hotel is impeccable, everything feels fresh and well looked after. The staff here are absolutely brilliant – friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The restaurant is top notch nosh, with great food and service to match. A special shout out has to go to both Pat and George for their incredible customer service. They were lovely, chatty, friendly, and nothing was ever too much to ask. They’re a true credit to the team and made my stay extra enjoyable. Can’t recommend this Premier Inn highly enough – I’ll definitely be back!”

“Stayed here for my time in Etwall and you couldn’t pick a better spot. The location is fantastic and the room itself was nicely decorated and well maintained. This is all second to the first rate service and the friendliest of staff, who were extremely helpful during my visit. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in lovely Etwall.”

“Stayed here for going to a gig in town, clean and comfortable, a short walk or taxi ride to the centre of Derby... staff are lovely, plenty of free parking and a buffet breakfast for £10.75... the scrambled eggs were really good, a good choice of hot and cold food plus there's a bar and the restaurant serves other dishes all day.”
