   Although some claim it doesn't matter which agent you use as long as you're on Rightmove, the team at John German Derby blew me away at every step of the sale process, delivering real value and getting a great price and speedy sale. From the outset, their experienced Senior Valuer, Alex, shared expert local market insights (not just the usual blah blah blah blurb printed off Rightmove) and took time to give really detailed advice on how best to prepare and present the property for sale. Once preparations were complete, she returned to take photos and create a virtual tour - both of which were to a very high standard. I was somewhat sceptical about the virtual tour beforehand, but it turned out to be a real game-changer, with prospective buyers saying they'd already had a good look round when coming for a 'physical' viewing! This is something not many agents offer (certainly not as standard) and I believe a real differentiator for John German - they should probably make more of a fuss about it. Once the house went on the market, Lisa, Flo and Gemma in the Derby office called potential clients already on their books and arranged several viewings. Thereafter, the service and communication with the sales team was great, and it didn't matter who you spoke to, they always knew exactly what was happening and got on with stuff in a friendly way. Once we found a buyer, there was a handover to Vicky, our dedicated Sales Progressor, who was also absolutely brilliant! She was always proactively keeping things moving, providing concise updates and handling all the little details which made for a smooth, speedy and successful completion. They're undoubtedly not the cheapest agent and don't have shops on every corner like some, but if you want expert market knowledge and advice, proactive and personal service from a small tight-knit team, high-quality photography, an awesome virtual tour, great communication and truly brilliant sales progression, then I'd highly recommend John German, and as the most demanding and unforgiving person I know, that's praise indeed!

   We didn’t sell with John German but dealt with them in purchasing a property. From the moment we enquired the staff were very attentive. They work with their ‘clients best interest’ and when the chain fell through they were acting in our sellers best interest which showed how dedicated they were, whilst trying to manage disappointed buyers. The post sale support was brilliant. Communication channels were open and again very attentive with returning calls etc. we won’t be moving any time soon but should we do we would 100% consider using John German as we had such a positive experience!

   We would 100% recommend John German! From the very start, we knew we’d made the right decision. Alex took the most wonderful photos and marketed our house perfectly.    Cannot fault John German staff at all. From the start, Charlotte was very friendly who showed us round the property, answering any questions we had. Going through the application process Linda was extremely helpful too and we have found the company as a whole a lot more friendly than other letting agencies we’ve used before. Having their own app was very useful, enabling us to sign documents without having to visit the office and even the option of transferring all our bills easily on an app too. We’ve settled in to our new home nicely, thanks to John German.
