   We had our first visit on Friday and were so impressed. The staff are fabulous - warm, friendly, attentive. Great ambience, food and drink. Lovely red wine. We'll be back soon! Highly recommended and hope it doesnt disappear when the owner sells the building. What an asset to Belper!

   Just popped in for a quick drink with my partner as first time coming here I was really impressed staff are so lovely all with smiles on their faces decided to have a pudding as we had already eaten else where but certainly one of the best puddings we have tasted. Can’t wait to return and try the food which my parents love coming here so definitely will be back soon! Thank you all for the wonderful service

   Fabulous 80th Birthday meal for my Mum. Lovely food, friendly staff, and a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff even sang happy birthday for Mum, and lit a candle in her dessert. We’ve eaten at Armando’s 3 or 4 times now. The food and service have always been consistently excellent. Thank you. Keep up the great work!

   Very nice 3 course meal chosen from the large party Set Menu in advance (we were visiting for a friend's Birthday Celebration). Food cooked very nicely and side dishes were plentiful. Varied choices. Excellent wine menu. Staff are helpful, efficient and friendly. We had a lovely evening. Thank you.

   Fabulous food really delicious, if a little pricy but it was worth it. Would definitely go again. The bar at the front is a bit sparse but the restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were great, felt a bit old fashioned in a really good way - the staff had obviously been trained properly, cutlery was changed for different meals oh I wish everywhere was just like this! Really interesting choices of white wine by the glass too. Best new place we've found for ages loved it.

   Really great food but the thing that truly makes it five star is the service. In this day and age with apathetic understaffed restaurants everywhere we were seriously impressed with the service team. They all looked happy and enthusiastic. Lovely to see. A really great meal!
