   This is a deceptively large restaurant, with most of its seating underground. It's tastefully decorated, we were a group of 15+ and we were waited on well without a long wait for our starters and mains. We all had a range of traditional dishes which can be customised with different meat and non-meat options, lots of breads and rice too go on the side. Good choice of drinks too. Reasonably priced.

   We've had takeaway before and it was always lovely quality so we decided to come and try the buffet. It was wonderful and the place is so nice and clean. Service is excellent, we will be back soon! Thank you.

   Visited here solely based on the plentiful good reviews. Nice enough restaurant, busy at 7pm on a Saturday evening. Staff very attentive and happy to help. The food for us though was a little below par. The rice needed more salt, the main dishes needed more oomph. The naans were lovely and the Tarka Dal was the stand out star but I can't see us returning.

   We dined at a Praan as a couple for our anniversary meal. First, we enjoyed the poppadoms and fresh dips while we chose our meals from the menu; the lime pickle dip was bursting with flavour. Both of our main courses were delightful: a mushroom korma and a lamb podina. The service was excellent and Khan especially made sure our evening was really special. We will definitely be back to try more of the delicious dishes here. A visit to Praan restaurant in Belper is highly recommended.

   This is the best Indian restaurant we have found, it really is worth travelling to. We have been three times so far and it has been consistently good, the main dishes are great then finishing off with amazing desserts and a pot of coffee with a jug of cream after the desserts which is how it should be but so many others aren't. To top it off it is reasonably priced and the setting which is underground really has a wow factor.

   If I could give more I would. We ordered through just eat and when the food was delivered (very quickly) we noticed one of our starters were missing, we rang the restaurant and within 19 minutes our missing item was here with free poperdoms. The food was amazing, so flavourful! Incredibly impressed can't wait for the next order

   We ordered a collection as there was a large group of us. The menu was broad and appetising, the food was ready on time and we enjoyed everything! However we did have some concerns about the functioning of the website: I crashed my browser as we ordered more than 50 items, and my friend had a problem with punctuation in a request box. These issues, though apparently small, could have larger downstream consequences when ordering via the restaurant website. This is why I have changed the 'Service' rating to four three stars as we nearly gave up the ordering process twice.

   Excellent Indian restaurant with a really fantastic menu and great service. I had scallops for starter and a lamb dish for main. Both were sublime. Only wish I could have tried more food during in my visit. I would say this restaurant is worth travelling out of your way to eat at. Highly recommended!
