The food and service is always excellent at this restaurant. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The early bird menu is good value and offered every day, with an extensive full menu. Vegan and coeliac members of my family always find plenty to choose from on the full menu. This is our go-to Indian restaurant in Derby for dining and takeaways.
Just been to the Raj. Amazing food as always, awesome service from the extremely friendly staff. We will never go anywhere else. Thanks again guys.
Food very watery again after giving it another go.Chicken madras was ok but unfortunately won’t be ordering again it’s a shame as it’s been fairly good over the years .
Haven’t used RoyalRaj after a very watery takeaway. Heard some had had good experiences, so tried again. Ordered at 18.20 and delivery came up at 19.25. Fine, no problem. Comes 19.50 and no food. Rang and told it would be out shortly. 20.10 and a staff member, not a typical delivery arrived with the food and a bottle of Cobra to say sorry. The food? Not improved. Won’t be going back.
Love this restaurant in the centre of Park Farm Shopping Centre, really delicious food cooked to perfection, great vegetarian options as well, the mushroom Korma was mouth-watering! They also do takeaways. Free car parking in park farm shopping centre, though time restricted to 2 hours I think, but check first, as I walked there so didn’t use it.
Really great food and service. I asked for a curry that was flavoursome but not too hot and that is what arrived. It was delicious.
Went here in a party of four. Staff were really friendly and attentive. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced (Drink, poppadoms, main, rice and naan around £30 per person) Would easily come here again and recommend friends do the same.
Disappointed this evening, garlic chilli chicken was cold not sure if the chicken was cooked so picked it out and the pick tray was odd the yogurt dip was a strange colour so didn't dare dip. Normally the raj is good but I'm now put off. So won't be returning sorry only takes one bad experience.
