   I had a really pleasant stay at Premier Inn Derby West. The room was very nice, clean, and well maintained, which made the stay comfortable from start to finish. Everything was tidy on arrival and housekeeping clearly keeps the rooms to a high standard. The reception staff truly stood out, especially Emma and Irina. From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, welcoming, and professional. Every time I walked past reception, they made the effort to check in and ask if I was okay, which made the experience feel personal and genuinely caring rather than just routine customer service.

   The hotel was very clean all round, the room was nice and spacious with plenty of room for the 3 of us. The staff were very friendly! Especially Emma, she was great nothing was too much for her! She was very attentive! From being on the reception desk to helping people to their tables at breakfast! She went above and beyond for us for our stay! Ensuring we had plenty of refreshments in the room and making sure we had fresh towels etc etc, (we stayed for 2 nights) also gave my child a little elf treat as we checked out on the 1st of December! It was a very nice touch and my little one was over the moon! Made the stay special!

   Rooms are clean and spacious. Fantastic service from front desk and especially the staff in the restaurant. Tasha in the restaurant was extremely helpful preparing snacks for our visit (5*). Breakfast is excellent, not greasy and a decent portion size with unlimited cooked breakfast and pastries. I highly reccommend this place especially if visiting Alton Towers as its 40 mins drive away.

   Stayed here for two nights. First night all good. Second night, gas leak in the kitchen so no food available until further notice. Didn't really get much information from bar staff and then when I went to reception, just a refund was offered for food, no alternative options suggested. After ordering food and collecting in reception, was then told gas back on. In the morning, no hot water in shower so, a nice cold shower to start the day. Location good for my meetings.

   We had an wonderful stay. The rooms were nice and clean and made up in time for our early check in. Emma was very attentive and very friendly made us feel very welcomed and really appreciate all the help she provided. There was a lot of us and she went out her way to make our stay wonderful! I think the lady who cleaned our rooms was Nina and she was so friendly too the rooms were clean couldn't fault anything. Thank you to you both. Look forward staying again in the future

   Couldn't fault it, the room was nice it had everything I needed including an opening window as I find all hotels to hot, the shower was great, staff friendly and helpful, with a pub adjoined serving breakfast which looked great but I stayed good and had just fruit and yogurt, located close to where I needed to be, excellent I'd use it again.

   Unfortunately it wasn't the usual level of comfort we usually experience. The bathroom light and fan seemed to not work. The windows were shut and a notice stating the windows do not open, yet there was no air conditioning controls, so the room was like an oven. We didn't get a great night's sleep. We didn't mention it to the team at the time as it was late and the kids had gone to sleep so it would have been disruptive. In terms of location - AWFUL. The pub next door had two blokes standing outside smoking. One had about 3 teeth, the other was wearing jogging bottoms and a top and looked like he (or his clothes) hadn't washed in about 6 years. Having never been to the area before, I can safely say that we will actively avoid it in future, it's a dump of a location. There's a LIDL next door and out room had a prime view of the back of it. We walked to find dinner (no way were we eating in the Mos Eisley Cantina next door) and the theme continued. We did find a really nice place for a curry though!

   What a lively homely Inn. Rooms are cosy and warm unlike the newer Premiere Inns where the heating has been turned down. The staff are friendly but not in your face. There was plenty of car parking space when I was there. There is a Sainsbury up the road and a LIDL next door there is also a pub come restaurant attached to the inn. It's also nice and quiet considering g it's near a main road. The entrance can be a little bit difficult to find but if you're standing in the car park and facing the pub with the hotel on the left it is at the left-hand side of the pub of the little sloping pathway. I would recommend this hotel all day long it really is a good one and I enjoyed staying there for 3 nights.

   Lot of black mould in the bathroom room smelled damp had window open through entire stay. Was OK to sleep I wouldn't have wanted anymore time than that in the room. Not much interaction with reception was very basic hello goodbye. Car park really noisy at weekend lots of shouting but to be expected anywhere you go. Toilet paper was horrible I went store got a roll of my own. Would benefit from a fridge to store drinks or milk. Has stairs so not ideal for wheelchair users

   Overall we had a good stay and the room was clean,the bed was amazing! The only 2 things things I will say is that the room was extremely hot there was a fan provided however it didn't really have enough power to cool the room and in the bathroom there was no toilet brush which would have been nice. We had breakfast in the restaurant but was put off by the ants that were crawling around on the table and along the wall beside us which I did mention to a member of staff but everything else was perfect.
