One of our favourite spots for breakfast or a coffee. The food and drinks are consistently excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly and efficient. There’s plenty of seating, including outdoor options, making it a welcoming choice year-round. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely Thursday evening at Hudsons which included tea in the cafe. I ordered the evening special (chicken Kiev) and my husband ordered a jacket potato and salad. It was clear that the Kiev was homemade and the rainbow coleslaw was delicious. We finished with a slice of lemon and blueberry cake and a cappuccino. We think it’s a brilliant idea to open the cafe in the evening on a Thursday. Hudsons is now so popular that it can get incredibly busy. If you want a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere then try the cafe on a Thursday evening. We left about 7:40pm.

Love this place. Food is always fresh and well presented. They do a fab breakfast and hot cob menu. The coffee is lovely and the large selection of fresh cakes are always yummy. Dogs are welcome.

Like it here. Always popular so you may have to wait for something cooked but friendly and a simple range of food, drinks and great cakes. Nice to browse around the garden centre too

Great place, lovely staff, nothing too much trouble. Coffee the best we’ve had, always an enjoyable experience. Surrounding garden centre is a credit to the staff with lovely displays. Highly recommended!

Just visited the glasshouse & won’t be returning, service was very slow & then they got the order wrong! I don’t mind waiting for food if they are busy but with 4 staff working & only a few people in the cafe it was a total joke. I really think all the staff need retraining. When you’re waiting at the counter not one of them have the decency to acknowledge you! Very very disappointed.

Visited yesterday and left very disappointed. Was advised of 20 minutes wait which was actually over 30 and when order arrived cappuccino was just like hot milk, no coffee at all and what looked to be lovely cakes were dry as thou they had been left out all day.
