Mom and I both had an amazing toasted sandwich and chips, with coleslaw and a garden salad (portions very generous) mom had a caramel latte and I had a chocolate milkshake....all very nice. A cosy welcoming cafe...a true hidden gem....lovely staff...will be back...
Had originally booked elsewhere that just didn't have friendly staff so looked in here and was delighted with the delicious beautifully cooked food, warm welcoming peaceful atmosphere and down to earth helpful staff. Absolute winner. Will be back!
Was due to meet my friends at a different cafe however it didn't open until 10am so we saw a little sign for the 1924 cafe and decided to go here instead. Wow what can I say. The service was great, staff really friendly, food really tasty and coffee lovely. The cakes loomed amazing and I'm.sure they'll taste yum. If you're in Belper have a walk along and try this cafe. You won't regret it.
