Lovely cafe housed within Hazelwood Memorial Hall. Check for opening times but well worth looking into. Great coffee and beautifully prepared bacon sandwiches !! Support it if you can, doubt you will be disappointed !!
What a little gem of a place! Lovely, warm, dog friendly cafe - So glad we found it! There is always a huge warm welcome from staff and volunteers - for us and the dogs! Parking also right outside the door if you're driving and walking. The food is home-cooked and amazing. It's wonderful to find exciting, tasty veggie dishes, the Strata is to die for and the cheese scones are perfect every time. I also recommend the cream tea with local cream. The brownies are gorgeous, firm on top and lovely and gooey in the middle. Always a good pot of tea served. There's a really relaxed atmosphere and a sense of community on offer - definitely recommend it, especially if you are walking or cycling in the area as there is nothing else on offer for several miles.
Absolutely gorgeous homemade cakes and scones. Lovely, friendly atmosphere, couldn’t have wished for more, great portion sizes, a real ‘gem’. Followed up with a walk with stunning views. An awesome afternoon!
The food here is lovingly prepared and really tasty. The menu is nicely varied to please both classic and adventurous eaters. The hardest thing is choosing what to have! And the homemade cakes are great. Definitely worth a visit.
Great experience at the café today. Service was excellent and the homemade tomato and butternut squash soup was delicious.
A wonderful atmosphere makes this new community cafe a hospitable and welcoming place. Combined with delicious, well sourced and freshly made food and drinks The Well Kitchen is a must-visit. Get away from the city or stop off on a bike ride, the staff will make you feel so welcome. To top it off they're currently raising money to support Ukraine with a yummy Borscht! Highly recommended.
