   Stayed for four nights in November ‘25 while on business. Service upon checking in was below par. Arrived slightly early to be bluntly told check in doesn’t open until 1500 and when my room was ready I was informed “I’ll chuck the key over to you”. Not offered to relax in the bar with a drink, Wonderful start. WiFi and 5g all but unusable most of the time so working in the room was all but impossible. TV seemed to be via streaming so that kept dropping out due to the WiFi. The rooms however are warm and comfortable, well equipped with a very good monsoon head shower. Food at breakfast and dinner was good, drinks reasonably priced but not a huge selection.

   Very clean and tidy and modern hotel, very happy with my stay, the gym was nice bonus, room was clean and tidy, no issues. Food was very good, staff friendly. Only minor notes, the mattress was firm, not a fan personally but it's a personal choice as I like a softer mattress, and having to ask at reception to have the room made up every day, otherwise I would highly recommend and I'd not think twice about stopping here again

   Thank you for dealing with all our last minute requests and being so happy to help throughout. All your staff made our stay very enjoyable and were always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the team were well fed and happy! We appreciated how prepared you were for our large team arrival, making check in very easy and also catered for an early morning departure. We will be sure to use this hotel again when staying in the area.

   Refurbished since I last came, the hotel is nicer than before and a bargain compared to similar hotels nearby. The staff are very friendly, and the breakfast is excellent value for money. Would definitely book again

   Staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms clean and well presented. Comfortable bed and breakfast was good quality. The restaurant is basic but the staff were really helpful with offering gluten free options. The drinks are very pricey which is a bit annoying, but they do have GF Stella. I used the gym, the equipment is modern and well maintained but the sauna isn't in use.

   Such a great place! Easy and straightforward - genuine friendliness. Ace answers sort everything quickly. ANd a great design int he rooms - all makes sense. Like a shower where every twist does exactly what you expect it to! Brilliant.

   Terrible service from the off. Very rude staff upon checking in. The room was freezing even with the heating unit turned up which threw out a foul sewage smell in the room. The TV was in a different language so could not be used. When I went to reception to complain there were no staff around to complain too. When checking out I complained and staff told me I should of complained before I spent the night and I could of been moved rooms, these where the same staff members that upon checking told me the hotel was fully booked and could not move my room to a double rather than a twin room. All round terrible stay will not be returning.

   Beware the parking scam! I got a parking ticket for parking in the hotel carpark, I entered my reg in at the terminal in reception but still got a fine. I called the hotel and got a "nowt to do with us" attitude. A little empathy and some guidance on how to challenge the parking fee would have been nice. Following an appeal where I provided evidence that I stayed at the Hotel, they still said hard luck, that will be £100.

   Extremely dissatisfied - Where do I start - DID NOT CATER FOR DIETARY REQUIREMENT I clearly advised on booking and on arrival, I have a gluten allergy, as I had stayed at the Pentahotel in Derby previously I was happy to book again. The waitress was very abrupt came back with the original menu with all items that contained gluten scored out with a marker pen, making me feel that I was an inconvenience. The wet towels were not collected the following day, meaning they lay all day in the room! Carpet in room 301 is stained Hairdryer was all sticky. The duvet covers werent closed on the end, Coffee,,tea and milk in the room werent replenished However breakfast was amazing

   I've stayed here a few times. The hotel is clean and modern. Breakfast is decent. Feedback for the hotel, the pool cues are terrible and broken. This needs to be fixed. Quite a large group were in the bar area and one chap was pretty loud and foul language which was off putting. Staff could have spoken to him in respect of other guests.
