   I had an awful experience with this hotel. I was wrongly charged nearly £200 in parking fees due to the staff writing down my registration incorrectly, even after I showed them a photo of my number plate. It took them months to resolve, and they showed very little concern throughout the process. On top of that, my room smelled strongly of sewage. Their “solution” was to spray an excessive amount of air freshener despite the fact that there was an asthmatic person staying in the room. Completely unacceptable service from start to finish.

   The room was great, but hot. Could do with air conditioning. The auto lights in the corridor stayed on so I had to lay a towel on the floor to stop the light coming into the room, and the door wasn't able to keep either the light or noise from other customers entering the room. The bed was big enough and comfortable. The shower wasn't great. It was nice and big, but not enough water coming out of the shower head. The plug for my sink did not fit properly either, it was too big for the hole. Sorry to say, the breakfast was terrible for me. Bacon, beans and scrambled egg were luke warm at best. Certainly not worth the price I paid. I didn't complain, I just had breakfast elsewhere for the rest of my stay. The staff were pleasant and easy to talk to, they were also helpful when I needed to ask any questions. There was some road noise late evenings, but what do you expect from the location. Parking was extra at £3 per night. You can only add 3 days worth at a time. I'm not complaining, because I had a mate stay at a different hotel nearby, and they were £12 per night. So that was a bonus. Could be free for customers though. Just saying. On the whole, I'd stay here again as it was good value for the money paid.

   A warm welcome greeted me as I entered Pride Park Travelodge and was maintained throughout my visit. The room was great, the shower was hot and the bed was so comfortable I almost slept in, which hasn't been a word in my vocabulary for decades. The staff were excellent throughout and the food was really good. I will definitely be staying here again.

   Room was lovely, bathroom was great, view wasn't brilliant but not an issue. The bar was handy and breakfast in the morning was delicious and very welcome. We'll return the next time we're in Derby

   Lovely Breakfast Chef - Great value stay with friends after a night out in Derby. Rooms spacious and clean. Friendly and helpful staff, especially the breakfast chef, nothing too much trouble for her, thank you. Good selection of hot and cold food. Great location next to the river and all the shops in the retail park areas near the stadium.

   Great location, very clean and well maintained. Staff are very friendly and professional. Parking is £3 per night so budget for that but there is plenty of parking right outside and it's big enough for trades vans. Disabled-friendly hotel with wide halls, low handles and lift to all floors. Quiet location at night but close to so many amenities!

   Very warm welcome from friendly staff. Our room was clean and spacious. The decor in our room was a bit tired but for 3 blokes watching the football, it wasn't a problem at all. The beer was cold, food was good, we will stay again if we play Derby again.

   Hotel is great and staff are friendly and helpful. You have to pay to park here , £9 for three days so not too expensive. The sign on the roundabout is non existent for the hotel so we drove straight past the turning. It would be helpful to have better signage. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is great with a lot of choice but it is £7.99 per person extra. Hotel is dog friendly which is why we chose the Travelodge, only £5 extra a day. Lots of parking space in a quiet area.

   I choose this hotel as it was opposite pride park stadium which I was visiting for a boxing match. Car parking was £3 for 24 hours and was directly outside the hotel The staff were so friendly and nothing was to much trouble for them. The hotel has just had new carpets fitted which was nice as it still smelt new We did not eat in the evening but breakfast was £8.99 for all you can eat. I would definitely recommend anyone stay here as I would definitely come back again Thanks Travel lodge

   I found the accommodation basic, however it wasn’t very clean once you head to your room from the reception. I found many spiders and webs when I came up to my room and the decor is dated. Also the doors in the hallway was broken and there where two young members of staff trying to fix it when clearly a maintenance person was needed. Also because they couldn’t fix it the door would bang extremely loudly! The staff were good, there was a young moody mixed race lady who kinda put me off asking for breakfast for the second morning. As for the breakfast it was ok however there was a poster showing fresh made pancakes and when we went for breakfast there wasn’t any on display and when we asked about it, we were told its in a packet and they put it in the microwave for us.. we declined. The bedroom was nice however the air conditioning and heater didn’t work and the remote control for tv was nasty/dirty it needed to be wiped down!! One morning we came out of our room to find a bucket of cups which made us want to check the cups in our room and they weren’t clean and the spoons had tea/water marks.
