Stayed at the Willowford Hotel for 3 days, Lou Lou greeted us like we were friends, Lou Lou is a fantastic lady who went above and beyond for my sister and I, thank you for the breakfast which was so thoughtful of you and made us smile. We had a beautiful view across fields so beautiful and tranquil and the apples from your tree were very nice lol, we were so sad to be leaving but we will come back. Thank you again.

I would like to say me Sam and my husband Wendell stayed here to celebrate our 38th anniversary to catch up with family that live local. From the time we walked through the door and used the luxurious toilet to checking in and having a drink a chat with the owner Lou Lou, we was so happy with our choice. The place is every girls dream, Lou Lou was exceptional. The garden room beautiful as was the breakfast . Can’t recommend this lovely find enough. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you Lou Lou your quaint hotel is an extension of you, classy and a little bit of luxury . Loved it

It's a nice room, pretty clean it was just some dust/dirt build up e.g. on soap dispensers, behind toilet, etc but everywhere else was spotless and the linen smelt fresh. The bed was comfy. It was nice having the private entrance felt like you could just come and go, lovely views but I did feel like I was in someone's back garden but that may be due to not spending much time there and it being quite dark when I arrived. You can hear your neighbours quite a bit, the person in the room next door wasn't being particularly loud but it felt like they were in the same room. The check-in time is quite short (3 hour window), I was delayed arriving but I did manage to get through to one of the numbers and someone let me in. It overall is a nice quiet spot, great views, great room and felt like you had your own space.

living in shed at the end of the garden Food and rubbish under the bed No mini bar No wardrobe just a coat stand with some hangers. Dangerous overloaded electric plug , untested for years. Heating is an electric fire plug in. Walls thin as paper Bright light outside all night Creaky bathroom door Stained damp carpet. Half a toilet roll. If you book here take some toilet roll and WD40. No choice of breakfast only continental available at a heafty price £10 extra Not a hotel barely a b&b

We had a lovely afternoon tea and I was really impressed from the minute I walked in. We received a fabulous greeting as though they'd known us for years and the service from that moment on was absolutely brilliant. The food was delicious and we were offered more sandwiches and top ups on the drinks throughout our visit. The whole area was decorated beautifully and the atmosphere was so friendly and fun. I can't recommend this enough and thank you for a lovely time.

Lovely one night stay at Willowford, a welcoming host who was in contact with us before, during and after our stay and such a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Highly recommend for anyone looking to visit Milton Keynes as it is really local (15 minutes drive) to the main shopping and activity area, yet out away from the hustle and bustle.

My wife and I recently celebrated our Silver wedding and chose The Willowford Hotel to mark the occasion. I wanted to lay on a few surprises for my good lady and met with Lou Lou, the proprietor, on several occasions to discuss how I wanted the afternoon to pan out. She couldnt have been more helpful or accommodating and took it upon herself to organise everything so that not only were my expectations were met on the day they were exponentially surpassed. Her superb hosting skills, organisation, presentation and cheery demeanour took what was already a special occasion to another level. My wife and I were absolutely thrilled with everything, it was perfection personified so much so I have now booked The Willowford to celebrate a landmark birthday for me later in the year! Well done to Lou Lou, Pierre, Mel and Sophie for making our anniversary so special, a day we will never ever forget. Christopher & Michele Rose
